Hindi ba at nung last few years ng Batibot, they "retired" his character and replaced it with a similar-looking one, after the license from Sesame Street (which owned the rights to Pong Pagong) expired and was no longer renewed by the Philippine producers? Remember, Batibot started as "Sesame", featuring clips from the U.S. show interspersed with the local show's.

God, I'm old.

Unless the Pinoy producers find a way (and the moolah) to buy the copyright to Pong Pagong and Kiko Matsing character's from Sesame Street USA, there's absolutely no way the current gen of Pinoy kids will be seeing those two on Batibot.
