Instead of buying new sofa set (walang pambili ;D), i just reused the old ones stocked in the basement.

DIY Beyma full range speaker for the tube amp, Mission M72 (fronts) and Mission M71 (surrounds), both with DIY stand.
(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c20/juneaki/P1000039_zps0d9e5e35.jpg) (http://s24.photobucket.com/user/juneaki/media/P1000039_zps0d9e5e35.jpg.html)
(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c20/juneaki/P1000040_zps7815cf6d.jpg) (http://s24.photobucket.com/user/juneaki/media/P1000040_zps7815cf6d.jpg.html)
(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c20/juneaki/P1000038_zps4b6f29b5.jpg) (http://s24.photobucket.com/user/juneaki/media/P1000038_zps4b6f29b5.jpg.html)
I found an old carpet and used it to cover an old foamed bedsheet (to also help diffuse sound and tame bass). I also used some old carpet tiles to cover half of the area.(http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c20/juneaki/P1000045_zpsc1c2e29f.jpg) (http://s24.photobucket.com/user/juneaki/media/P1000045_zpsc1c2e29f.jpg.html)
BTW, behind the curtains are still some old stuff ;D ;D

Temporary pa lang kasi ang setup ko. I'm contemplating on arranging my basement to give way to a more permanent and dedicated HT center. Pero ipon muna para sa renovation. ;D ;D But the suggestion is well taken. Thanks.

Naglinis ako ng basement last week at ng matanggal ang mga unwanted basura, malaking space ang na-save ko (about 4mX5m). I thought to convert it to a DIY HT/Audio den and consolidate all my HT/audio gears in one place. I'm now in the process of DIYing/conversion.
This thread will soon be named "My Cheap Basement HT/Audio Den". ;D ;D Pics will be posted soon.

;D ;D Aside from my setup being practical, you cannot buy the enjoyment of DIYing and the fulfillment of accomplishing something with your own hand the idea your mind created. ;D ;D
All in all, i spent less than Php 6,000 with this endeavor.
The materials are already part of the Php 6,000 ;D ;D
-

Nice transformation... Congrats sir...!
What's the new X-over configuration ?

Nice transformation... Congrats sir...!
What's the new X-over configuration ?
Originally, the single 8 ohms 12" woofer was wired directly (no dividing network in between) to the binding post and the tweeter with just a capacitor (forgot the value) in between. In the new setup, I still hooked directly the woofers to the binding post (I like it this way, no sound colorization), except that the two 8 ohms 12" woofers are wired parallel reconfiguring the impedance of the speaker to become 4 ohms. The speakers are now wired to my tube amp's 8 ohms outputs to be safe.
-
So, the 2 woofer are configured as full range and only the tweeter on high pass x-over. Just wondering sir, how the paralleled woofers (4ohms) back to 8ohms.

I'm not an electronics expert sir. I just read that speakers with lower impedance are safer when connected to the higher impedance output of the tube amp (it is the reverse when it comes to integrated amp). Speakers nya ay 4 ohms to 8 ohms output of his tube guitar amplifier.

So, my tube fisher int. amp (rated 8-16ohms) can take the vintage philips 4ohms 3way speakers w/o any problem...
Thanks for the info sir...
