I started watching Season 1 last week and I could not stop. I love drag queens!
Anyway, it is season 3 and I have a feeling that at least two of the contestants are Filipinos. These are
Raja

Manila Luzon

Just saw this. I actually love this show. The campiness is unbelievable.
Manila Luzon is half-Filipino. But Raja is, I think, Thai. He's actually relatively well-known. He's Sutan, the makeup artist featured in majority of the seasons in America's Next Top Model.
-
Is Mariah another Filipino?

Wow! Really? I watch ANTM whenever I can catch it so I'm familiar with him. Totally unrecognizable.
Jessica Soho in a segment on drag queens in her show mentioned Manila Luzon as being of Filipino descent.
-
Manila Luzon's mother is Filipino and his Dad's American.
Have you seen any episodes of Drag Race pre? It's really a fun show. Absolutely hilarious!
-
No I haven't. I actually just learned about this show when Jessica Soho mentioned it last Saturday. I wonder if a local cable channel would be bold enough to air it. Or maybe I should just download it. I'm intrigued. ;D
-
I don't think any channel will touch this show. It's just so in-your-face gay that priests and the so-called moral society will have conniptions. I highly recommend it though, it's one of the most entertaining reality shows ever. The commentary of the judges alone when each contestant comes out is worth watching, and it's just a small part of the show. :)

make sure you get the untucked episodes as well. it is a must!!!

;D Wow, intriguing and fun this show must be especially when reviews came from indie boi himself hehehe..One must have the most open mind when watching shows of this nature which I think will never land on local television. Really sad...I'd better ask my niece to download this fast hehe..Wala akong tiyaga to do this hehe..

blitzkreig---better start with season one. The queens there are the most memorable so far, especially a fellow baklita Ongina

You mean this show's been here like forever already? Gawd! Baka nandun na ito in that "unmentionable" place hehe.. ;D

I chanced upon the show when Reality Blurred mentioned it. :) Tried the first episode of the first season and got hooked. My wifey and I absolutely love the show because it's so goddamn funny. You're right, it really takes an open mind to watch and appreciate the show.
The first season only had like 8 contestants, I think. The producers obviously didn't know if their formula will work. But it actually did! For those who haven't seen it yet, or tried it, it's a mix of Project Runway and America's Next Top Model only with drag queens.

Wild card next week! I hope it is a Heather.
-
The blonde athlete is hot!
-
I guess I am good in predicting.
Raja is the next drag superstar and the runner up is...
Manila Luzon!
