Title: Xvid question

i downloaded a xvid file with ac3(5.1) track. my question here is, if i burn this file directly to a dvd-r and play it thru a dvix/xvid capable dvd player and connect the player to a receiver w/DD&DTS encoding via coaxial, will the receiver be able to identify the audio track as discrete 5.1? has any body here tried this before? TIA  :)

based on my experience stereo lang well baka rin kasi mumurahin din lang ang setup ko
