Hehehee hindi nag tatanong, wala pang pang upgrade, wharfs muna ako..maganda pa naman tumunog eh, saka na siguro upgrade nang speakers pag nakaluwag luwag ehehehe....

Nice pare malapit na palang makumpleto ang mission mo ehehehe..ganda talaga nang speakers mo :)

What can I say (though di pa ata nabreak-in)???
Superb Sound overall.
Great Sound Imaging
Full Bodied Sound
Speakers are small but act like a BIG one.
Highs are clearer than crystal.
The Midrange is live!

The price is almost the same with Missions M7i series, cheaper pa ata. But IMHO, it better than M7i series.

Sensitivity is 91db.

Meron isa pang series ng KEF dun, CODA series.

The other KEF models set-up with the Yamaha 630 are the Coda 70 and the Q1.

What Hi Fi? reviewed the Coda 70 in its August 02 issue. Its price is also about 50% more than the Cresta 10 and about the same as the Cresta 30 floorstander.

The Q1 is rated against Mission 780. Both were rated 5 star.

The Q1 falls slightly short in its bass performance vs. the 780. It is however being retailed at 20% less than the 780.

Your ears and your wallet will be the final judge.

I think it will really be the Cresta 10 and the Cresta 30 which will give the current models available in Manila good competition and value for money.

Post by: theman on Aug 05, 2003 at 05:19 PM: guys, any info on cresta 1 and 2?i think this is a discountinued product but checked the price from an online store at uk and it is selling at 30 pounds for c1 and 40 pounds for c2 a pair. the price of the c1 center is also 30 pounds. at an exchange of P 87 = 1 pound, the price is less than 3k. it is 5 stars at what hi-fi.

any store selling this?

i have the older set, the 2005. i havent heard the new ones yet, but the older 2005 is one of the better sub/sats package at the time i bought them. a negative though is that they tend to emphasize sibilance, better hear them for yourself.

how much is the 2005.2 now?

If your going to do a blind testing on all the bookshelf speakers available in your place including the KEF Cresta 2, It will end up to be the last in your list.. ;)

eh lalo na siguro yung cresta 30 mas malakas midbass nun.

para ma try mo kung ok patunugin mo lahat ng speaker dun ilaban mo sa b&W at sa mga wharf. mapapansin mo na malapit sa b&W tunog ng cresta.

ang ayoko lang ke sound dimension muka syang subwoofer hehehehhe lagi kang pipilitin nyan na mag subwoofer. i think it has something to do with his room maganda lagi mga tunog ng sub. puno kasi ng mga gamit ;D

kef 20 & kef 10 for 14k...napamahal yata ko kasi yung
iba nakabili ng kef 20 for 6,500.
pero hindi ko na audition yung kef30 hindi ko rin natanung yung prize.
right now i have b&w for front & kef for rear & center.
