<Under Construction>
Features Committed to 2.1.1 (Gold):
1. Logitech Harmony remote working
- Battery recieved.. too lbusy to fiddle with it yet
2. CLEAN ROOM...
Features under development for Q1 2012:
1. Ipad 2 + Laptop DLNA to tv and reciever simultaneously - Current research says.. screw it.. just DLNA to the HTPC.... grrr...
Features being researched for 2012-2013:
1. Bi-amp FS but still maintain 5.1/5.2 setup
- did some research, the Onkyo recievers are meant only for Passive Bi-Amping.. Whose "real" world benefits are minimal unless it bypass the speakers cross-overs and bunch of other complex topics.. will do this in very far future.
2. New bed
-finding good frame and mattres
3. Carpet/Rug or flooring for room
- Searching for good ideas
4. NAS/SAN for centralized storage for all devices
- Might not push thru with this, want to reduce total power consumption of room
5. Cover/Pillows for Sofa
- Searching for good ideas
6. New Table
- Searching for good ideas
7. Extra Sub for 5.2 setup
- Need to figure out feasibility of pairing a different model + if have viable benefit
8. Repaint room
- Finding "free" Interior decorator
9. Find proper location/placement for side/rear speaker
- Not sure yet how to research this

crap sorry for late reply...
floor stand it came with the speakers and its an obselete model by now.. so its gonna be hard to find them :(
Im not an audiophile pro so im not sure how to explain it, but id say its better for music.. if i remember right "warm" is better for music.. not sure whats the proper adjective to use..

-

ahh.. 4 na different "parts" yung sofa
Left Hand rest
Right Hand rest
center/No hand rest
divider/Cup holder
so kung 2 seater gagawin mo.. magiging..
Left Hand rest -> Cup Holder -> Right Hand rest
tapos kung expand ka.. add cup holder and no hand rest sa gitna
gets? :p

Hi aaron,
dalawa yung Omni 1500w ko.
1. left side Omni 1500w:
a. AVR
b. PS3
c. xbox
d. HTPC
2. Right side Omni 1500w:
a. TV
b. Sub woofer
c. charging of any device
kung bukas at full power yung mga devices sa left side.. baka sumuko si AVR.. never sila sabay bukas at si AVR.. never ko todo full volume kaya safe.
ano po equipment plano niyo kabit sa setup niyo?
-
thanks sir! I am planning to buy kasi 1500w rin na Omni at eto mga gears na ikakabit:
tv (51 plasma)
ps3 slim
bd player
nmt
dvd player
htib (planning to change this to avr-speaker with active sub setup)

hmm.. bakit may BD player and Ps3 kayo? :D
what's "nmt" hehe?
Plasma tv (51") - ano model?
Ps3 slim - check your wattage here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_3_hardware#Form_and_power_consumption
BD player - what model? unless its an Oppo or similliar specialized model.. i'd suggest you stick to ps3 for space and power savings
DLNA-NAS - what model?
dvd player - check model and specs.. i suggest retire.. use BD player or ps3
Avr- malaki max. wattage nila pero normally di natin na-abutan yan unless full blast ka sa volume
whta model you plan to get?
Active Sub - malaki din ito, What model you plan to get? :)
edit: ok i just figured out what nmt- its basically a DLNA enabled NAS.
-
here's what i found sa net: (these are max values)
samsung 51 plasma 3dtv - 290w (max) - PS51D491 model
Sony PS3 - 250W - 120gb slim (will be used for gaming and 3d bluray only)
Samsung Bluray - 19w - BD-D5100 (for non 3d blurays)
Kaiboer with hdd - 6.1W - NMT (network media tank)
bale i'll be getting the 1500w first then pagnaka avr-speaker setup na dagdag nalang siguro ako ng 500w para sa tv and yung mga di masyado malakas humigop ng wattage..

hmm..
AVR are about 600-1+k wattage depending on model
subs are 400 and up
If the models you are getting have wattage close to mine, you might want to get a 1000w model and put tv + subs on that AVR.. same as what i did :p
-
thanks for your input sir..anyways i'll be getting the 1500w first..pinag iipunan ko pa rin ngayong ang pang av receiver-speaker/sub setup eh..we'll see nalang ano kukunin kong model by that time..baka around 1000-1500w na rin siguro depende sa budget and para malaki-laki pa ang allowance sa wattage..
