Title: Normandy's simple set up
Post by: normandy on May 17, 2011 at 12:56 PM: Hi guys, Just want to share my old and new HT set up, any comments and suggestions are most welcome.

This is my July 2008 set up
LCD TV - Samsung LA32M61B
DVD Player - Philips 1080i upscaler
HTIB - Samsung HT-TQ25

This is my May 2011 set up
TV - LG42PW350
AVR - Onkyo TX-SR508
Front - Polk Audio TSI 300
Center - Polk Audio CS10
Surround - Mordaunt Short Carnival 1
Sub - Polk Audio DSWpro 440
DVD player - Philips
Media Player - Popcorn Hour a210 with 2TB HD

Thanks po, the rack is built-in, para nakatago most of the wires, I designed it using the dimensions of my old LCD, DVD and Samsung HT. kaya nung nagpalit ako ng Onkyo muntik nang hindi magkasya sa height. Thanks po ulit :)

You don't have to relocate the center speaker. Just find a way to tilt it so that it points towards ear level.

That's a good idea. It's easier to tilt a speaker upwards rather than downwards.

Or you can use Auralex MoPads.
Check it out in the threads here by Mike C of SVS.

I use them on my RTi A3 and A6's to isolate vibration transfer to shelves and for tilting.

Buti na Lang Kung Hindi pati rack na upgrade mo hehehe ;)

Tama po, buti nalang din ang budget ko pang onkyo 508 lang, yung higher models di na talaga kasya. Thanks po :)
