Post by: at_sunset_blvd on Jul 11, 2011 at 05:24 PM: Guys I watch this movie like 3times already, I've really enjoy it coz of its non-stop action scenes. Angelina Jolie is Evelyn Salt as like Matt Damon is Jason Bourne. The weird thing here is I saw the movie in HBO this afternoon w/c was nearing to the last part & the ending part was she was on the chopper & handcuffed then being set free by the the other agent, then jump out in the freezing water. The one that I have on BD in the last part that she was back at were she grew up & killed her Boss then blew up the entire place, Am I missing somethin here? or there's an Extended Version of this movie ??? ;D

The ending I saw in the movie was when she was running after jumping out the helicopter. Parang leading to Part 2 kasi she was saying "I'll kill 'em. I'll kill 'em all." Diba napatay na nya boss nya dun pa lang sa parang ship then she bombed the place. Hala... nakakalito. Hehehe... ;D

Post by: at_sunset_blvd on Jul 11, 2011 at 05:38 PM: I'll try to watch this again tonight coz I was really surprise to view unseen parts when I was watching it on HBO & it was just that when I turn on the TV she was already in the chopper then I keep on saying to myself maybe this is part 2 coz I really havent seen this part on BD ;D

Tama ang ending mo.. Sa akin naman hindi ko nakita nong pinakawalan sya ng agent sa helicopter.. Nakawala sya nong nagpanggap sya na nagswallow sya ng cyanide tapos nag seizure sya..

The real movie ending is yung pinakawalan sya sa Helicpoter then nagtatakbo sya sa swamp tapos end credits na.

Yes the one I saw also that he woke up in another time making it more frustrating for him, I remember this movie but didnt know there's another version too ;D

It would be great if they have it on a single BD like on the chooper then she was uncuffed then leaps into the freezing water & went to there base, kills ORLOV & blast the entire place up. This would be great to cut the confusion of the viewing public ;)

The film was originally made for Tom Cruise, he declined because he was making Knight And Day.
There will be up to 2 sequels made, with Jolie reprising her role.
The more I watch it, the more I like it.

The Theatrical Release was the one she jump out from the chopper then into the icy waters while the Extended Cut was the one she went back to there base hideout & blew it it up near the end parts of the movie. Havent check out what the Director's Cut is all about in the ending :)

I think, also, the voice over news report at the ending implies that:

(1) Evelyn Salt is dead (or at least, they've thought so...because it can also be interpreted to cover up her escape and then she plans to go after the other sleeper agents in future sequels)

(2) Orlov became successful in the Day X as the new US President is another Russian sleeper agent (U.S. president visits his parents' grave in Moscow who died in a car accident -- same circumstances as Evelyn's).
