Mga boss, patulong nman po kung which Full HD 3D model is very good to buy. Will be used only for watching 3D movies and 2D movies. I had a plasma tv and i want to upgrade to 3D LED lang po kasi.

i have the 42lw5700, not bad plus i believe LG has better customer service. they also have a lot of freebies, ill take the 2 inches anytime plus the freebies.

hi sir loft, thanks. I did forgot about the freebies, that would be a factor too. What were the freebies for the LG brand? Yes i did heard about the bad service of samsung. But their TV really takes my attention due to its attractiveness. But i'll consider ur inputs. TIA.

it came with a wall bracket, the xbox 360 kinect bundle which i was able to sell, a bd 660 blu ray player and a copy of despicable me 3d. i was able to sell the xbox the other day (since i already have one). the price considerably goes down because of that. all in all, i paid less than 60k for the tv and the blu ray player which is not a bad deal.

I opted for the LG Cinema 3D because of its passive glasses. No battery, very cheap compared to active, flicker-free, very light and can watch with it for a long time w/o headache. Caveat is reduction in resolution. But honestly, not noticeable for me. This tv has good PQ even in 2D.

Thanks sir threepoints...will consider your input and thanks for the link..I happen to try the 42LW5700...and its 3D glasses in SM appliance and I think the 3D has a good depth, but since i will not always watch 3D..im concerned also with the 2D movies...does the LG gives the "soap opera effect" when LG trumotion is turned on? Though others dont like the effect, i may say "para maiba naman viewing experience ko.hehe.."

Upscale dvd and watch blunray with 3d on is also not too bad. It's really a good tv

Hi sir! A month ago ganito rin ang dilemma ko kung Sammy 40d6400 or LG 42LW700 ba ang bibilin ko. For me, mas nagandahan ako sa active 3d kesa sa passive 3d glasses. Test both if makikita mo difference pero if not go for passive since mas cheap sya compared sa active na super mahal. Maganda package ng LG because of all the freebies that you will get (kinect + blu ray player) but for overall picutre quality, i think mas ok ung Samsung. Test both units extensively. You could not go wrong either way. :)

Idol Ben...naunahan na kita...I bought the Samsung 40D6400...picture quality wise...lamang na lamang talaga si Samsung against sa 2D movies due to the 400Hz CMR, and guwapo ng looks ni D6400. I cant compare both on 3D movies since wala pa akong Bluray 3D player. Same with sir Yunarce parang mas gusto ko rin passive glasses. But in 2D to 3D conversion mas may depth si LG. For now mostly 2D lng muna papanuorin ko. And its good to know mataas Motion Rate ni Samsung ibang experience ng panonood. Sobra linaw. Sarap mag movie marathon. Hehe. Another advantage ni D6400, it can read DTS movies. The LG 42LW5700. Ok ung bundle nya kaya sulit na rin.

Its active glasses for the Samsung sir bitoy. Ung passive sa LG. :) Selling point nung LG ung freebies eh. :) May nakuha ka freebies sa Samsung brader? Tipid sa freebies ang Samsung eh. haha

Im planning next year na lang to upgrade 3d bluray player, mahal din ang bd discs. ;D ;D . Ayos na muna sa good looks ng TV and 2d movies pansamantala. You were saying namimili ka rin sir on both models, ano po napili nyo?

Yup ito rin ung dalawang tv na pinagpilian ko about a month ago. I ended up buying the 46D6600. ;D Tapos ang counterpart naman nia na LG na option ko din is ung 47 inch nila. Dont know exactly kung anung model nung led tv. Ang freebie na nakuha is Galaxy Tab. :)

I decided to get the LG brand due to its bundle. Ok na rin my xbox na ako and bluray player. But with 2D movies mdyo nakukulangan ako. Hehe.
Rye, when did you bought your samsung? Dpat nga 46' n kinuha mo. Surely due to 400hz cmr nyan, movies are smooth and the soap opera effect is a good upgrade imho.

for those whoo have bought the LW5700..has anyone tried using skype? may skype app na ba for LG? one of the deciding factor kse yan e..im choosing between 5700 and 6400..
fyi, may nag demo dito sa abu dhabi samsung vs lg..pinukpok ung samsung a couple of times..lumabas agad lines na dead pixels..the same test was done on lg..ayus pa din..ako naawa sa lg tv e..ilang beses pinukpok..pero ayus pa din..kulet..4x na daw sila magpapalit ng display model nila ng samsung..

plan ko din sana kumuha ng UA40D6400. ok din kaya siya pang gaming lalo na pag gamit ang 3d feature nya?
nag inquire ako kanina sa SNS 57k w/ 2pc 3d glasses. no qwerty remote. need ko ba talaga bumili pa nun para ma maximize ang internet capabilities?

sa palagay ko di mo na need ang qwerty remote control na yan kasi walang web browser ang D6400 at ang merorn lang ay D6600&up series.

Sorry mali pala ako, magagamit mo rin pala yung qwerty remote control na yan sa social tv feature like facebook at tweeter. ;D Syencia na dami ko kasing choices like 37D5000,40D6400 at 42LW5700 kaya nailito na ako pero sa december pa naman ako bibili.

for me sir, as an owner of D6400. Ok na rin wla ung qwerty remote. More on movies lang kc purpose ko. So it would still depend on ur purpose. Pero kung web browsing tlga D6600 lng ung meron browser.

not related to picture quality but i +1 on LG or service. My 32 inch LG-LCD panel broke under warranty and i called the service center. Within 3 days there were in my home with the panel in tow. they replaced the panel, no questions asked.
