Title: Yamaha Remote Control

Suddenly, the remote of my Yamaha RX-V459 doesn't work properly. Anyone know where I can have this repaired or where I can get a replacement?

Volume control and some other buttons do not work. Power and other functions are working but not all the time. Is this a problem with the remote or with the receiver?

Anyone encountered the same problem? I replaced batteries but still not working.
Any suggestions/solutions would be very much appreciated.

Solved. It was a remote control issue and not a problem with the receiver. I opened the remote and inserted small pieces of rubber on the contact areas where the buttons were not functioning. It was matter of the rubber buttons becoming soft not having good contact. Buttons have become a bit stiff but functioning properly.

Will still get a replacement remote if I just know where. Any tips?

Get a Harmony remote. Good enough for everything.

Sirain talaga remote ng Yamaha. Sadly there are functions and adjustments that can only be accessed through the remote.

is this compatible sa lahat ng Yamaha AVR pati don sa mga old model? Saan ba makakuha nito?
