Planuhin mo na ang HD contents (movies, anime, concerts, documentaries) centralize them to your router then via a network share na lang playback accross TV if they are lan capable. pag hindi LAN capable, USB stick/storage bawat isa para HD sessions for bottomless fun -- ;D

anong specific sound ang hanap niyo sir? if you'd like warmth, try the mission m3 series, i think that's gonna fit your budget plus they aren't that hard to drive.

If you don't have dedicated HT room, better stick to Bigger Monitor since it is mixed use of your PC, TV and Movie. a P.J seems complicated. Mag PJ ka na lang pag nanood ng movie (Pineapple Juice).

htpc. :) Yun Samsung BD drive ko cost me P4t last year. Gamit ko for playing and storage ang htpc for music and movies. Isang htpc and isang receiver lang, you have both music and movies. Pwede pang ipakita yun mga internet videos mo sa malaking monitor mo. :D No need for having a seperate BD player and media player.
I weighed my options (and my budget). I realized a GoldenEar 3D Array soundbar is waaay above my budget! I'll be practical and get a JBL ES25C + JBL ES10 and an SVS PB-1000 to complete my 5.1 setup. ;)
+1 on the HTPC you can set also the HTPC as a bluray player with multi region capable not like bluray that can only play 1 region unless you buy those Bluray player with multi region hardware modified. ^-^ ^-^
yup! yan din reason kung bakit sa laptop ako nag-pplay ng dvds at hindi sa dvd player: di kasi pwede ang region 1 dvds sa locally-bought dvd player. ;) kaya nasa plano ko pa rin ang HTPC/ external blu-ray drive. ;D

gusto ko rin talaga ng high contrast na pj. pero ito lang ang kaya ng budget ko. anyway, maganda na rin performance nya. :D pinanood ko ang Canadian GP kaninang umaga gamit ang PJ ko. maganda rin kahit standard definition broadcast lang ng SkyCable.
Maganda naman talaga ang mga DLP ar low contrast PJ kaya lang pag na experience mo kasi ang mga high contrast dun mo mapapansin. Kahit naman ako dati nakuntento na ako sa 3010 ko pero siyempre kung ako ang tatanungin mas maganda ang high contrast PJ than the 300 buti na nga lang at all upgrade gagawin ko sa HT system ko.

Thanks OBR! :) The SuperCenter sounds similar to the GoldenEar Aon bookshelfs and Triton floorstanders, which I'd describe as having a "holographic" sound. (like 3D, realistic, or the scene/ performer is in the room) It also gives near-subwoofer levels of bass.
I got to hear its bigger brother, the SuperCenter XL, powered by the Marantz SR7008 and accompanied by the new Triton 7, SuperSat 3, and ForceField 5 subwoofer, during the recent Manila HiFi Show. They were simply amazing!

I've been doing some research on GoldenEar but haven't yet had the opportunity to hear any of their range. Could be interesting when I decide to upgrade my KEF HT set up. The type of sound you describe is what suits my ears, thanks for your opinion.

actually, may hum akong naririnig mula sa left channel. sinubukan ko na cya na naka-crank yung volume, walang source na nakakabit sa rca, saka pinag-palit ko ang left at right speakers, may naririnig pa rin akong hum. :-\ dadalhin ko nga setup ko sa Watt HiFi sa Sabado para ma-test at ma-isolate ang prob. (at kung kailangan, warranty claim)
btw, wag nang T5 ang kunin mo. T9 or S/5 na! ;D
