Title: LG 32LK430 Firmware Update help

Guys, I got this TV recently and noticed on the LG websites in other regions that there's newer firmware (the TV I got has 04.00.05, and the websites have version 5). Is it safe to update to that? My TV has -UG at the end of its model name, whereas on those other sites it's TH or UA.

Another issue is that the set suffers a bit from ghosting/double images when panning an image (such as in a first person shooter moving left and right). It's a bit worse than my old Samsung R81 TV, but I wonder if it's normal. I don't want to waste time exchanging the unit if the replacement might be the same.
