Just for my or someone else info, do we have a list of panel manufacturers? Kinda like who makes for whom?
I know Sharp makes their own, Samsung and Sony has this company called S-LCD. Information like this will make our choices more interesting.

S-LCD is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Samsung. :)
I think the big makers are:
Samsung
LG
AU Optronics
Chimei
Sharp
Matsush!ta
Japan Display

Thanks for the info guys. Where does Panasonic and Toshiba get their panels? Last I heard IPS is already a Panasonic company...
