Title: DO I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS?
Post by: Jolam1431 on Dec 21, 2014 at 05:00 PM
Mga sirs just bought a samsung 43" plasma TV..... Do I need to worry about screen burn? Do Plasma TV nowadays have already eliminated this problem?

If I watch a movie that will not fill the whole screen and with black bars on the upper and lower portion, say for 4 straight hours. Will it cause some kind of a burn-in issue?

TIA and God bless..

Be happy.

Kiddin aside, AFAIK you can change the colors of the black bars to gray to avoid burn ins.

Enjoy and just deal with the problem when it comes up. We can't be slaves to anxieties.

Just run the anti-burn feature (black-scanning), if you see image retention from time to time.
