Hi all,
My Mitsubishi DLP Projector acted up last week, there is power but just dies shortly after powering on.
Would you know any projector repair service center catering to Mitsubishi brand?
Or do you have suggestion how I can perhaps solve the issue myself, perhaps it's just a simple problem.
Would appreciate.
Thanks.

IF the power indicator remains "red" then chances are the unit's bulb has died. Either it reached its estimated lifespan or it prematurely died. The other two main breakdown troubles for a DLP is color wheel going bust or the TI DLP chip deteriorating. The latter two are headaches, but a dying lamp is the easiest to remedy as it only involves buying a compatible replacement.

Thanks Alice, highly appreciated. Would you know any recommended repair center for projectors?

TRY calling this no. 09216-219-847, ERICKSON. He fixed my Mitsubishi DLP a year ago but at a cost of P6000 which includes bulb replacement, labor/home service. He looks like a Chinese fellow in a motorcycle. If possible on the event its the lamp which is the failing part, insist on getting an original Osram or Philips lamp, not what he might bring with him - which chances are are merely an OEM compatible. Or just engage him to diagnose the exact trouble but leave yourself the choice to proceed with the repair or not. Thats it...

Thanks Alice. You're a life saver.
