Hi sirs! I've had my 2-chanel set up for 6 months now and medyo madalang ko na sya magamit ngayon due to my busy schedule. Just recently i heard some static noise if i may call it that(more like crackling or hissing) when i switch on to phono. Pero pag cd or streaming spotify wala naman ako narinig. For better understanding, here is my set up
Hk3490
AT-LP 120
Philips CD/DVD player
Infinity primus p363
Ipad connected via bluetooth device
Newstar 1000 avr
Just want to know some inputs on how to eliminate this static noise or discover other underlying problems.
TIA:)

Looks like na-isolate niyo na ang problem. Have you tried changing the phono input wires? Or baka may ibang phono source pa kayo to better isolate ang cause ng static. Or baka yun phonostage ang culprit.
-
Sometimes removing the connection of the phono ground wire removes the static noise specially if the amp is not.plugged to an outlet that has an earth ground.
-
sometimes, simply pulling out and then putting in the rca connectors helps, rca jacks unless it is the gold plated expensive types are known to tarnish, maybe this is all that is needed...
-
Sometimes you just have to re-balance the cart so that the needle flows freely on the grooves. Replacing the rca wires solved the humming problem on mine. Maybe it will also help yours as other have suggested.

Thank you mga sirs! Will take note of your suggestions. Will let you know this weekend. Maraming salamat po:)

the lp120 has a line and "phono" level output (switch), which are you using? in any case, try both. if you'll switch to line level, insert your rca cables to other inputs.
if you experience the same thing on both outputs, it's probably your cart.
