The Grand Tour, and by extension Amazon Prime Video will be out in 200 countries before 2017.
I assume this includes the Philippines too.

Anyone in the Philippines able to install the Amazon app on their LG webOS 3.0 TV? Cannot find it on the Premium section of the LG webOS Store.

i did it, but the app wont open, due to geolock.. kaya walang kwenta..
to do this you have to get into the service mode of the tv, change country location code, reboot the tv.
but like i said, di gumagana ang amazon vid app dahil naka geolock.

kaya it is better to use an android box or roku to watch android content. ako i have roku ultra at gumagana ang amazon with HDR on supported tv and movie programs

#1 reason why I wanted to buy a Sony TV instead of this LG. Kaso OLED eh.

Amazon Prime Video is now available on the LG Content Store for the Philippines. Just search for the app
Updated 14/12/2016 for version 1.0.3
Content like Z: The Beginning of Everything (http://a.co/6xTIIrd) that used to be gelocked are now playable now.
Really weird, Amazon Prime Video app gets updated everyday.
It is now on version 1.0.7 as of 16/12/2016.
I hope they fix the the 4K resolution problem. I either get HDR or HD only.

Was able to get the Grand Tour (http://a.co/8wnCOIF) to display in HDR Ultra HD but it switches from to 1080p from time to time.
My guess is Netflix co-locates on PLDT's network so 4K gets delivered more quickly and consistently. Given time Amazon might do the same.

1st episode Patriot (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4687882/) is out on Prime Video in PH.
Rest of the season will be out 10 days from now.

I've tried this today, konti lang pala ang available content locally.
Anyone using vpn for this streaming service?
