Title: ubox3 ubox4?

matagal ko napo nakikita ubox3. meron napo ba talagang ubox4? meron kasi mga nagbebenta

ano po difference ng mga ubox generations? which one to get?
ano po magagawa sakanila?
can i turn a regular android like a tablet into a ubox.. parang android lang kasi yata?

Just saw this recently in GH for 6.5k Gen 4

any reviews?

nagtanong ako sa isa sa olx seller... sabi niya sakin phased out nadaw sakanya ubox3 ... ubox4 nalang daw.. but 7k isa... natatakot ako baka hindi kasi totoong may ubox4.. rebranding lang.. hehe (kaya ok nadin yung nakita mo sa GH... for now.. pero since bago ang ubox4 baka bigla din bumagsak presyo)
my dad has ubox3.. so far maganda naman.. nagagamit niya din as media player..

btw... we have pldt 1299 dsl/w phone... sobrang hirap... pag nanuod na dad ko sa ubox niya.. hindi na makasurf mga tao..
so i guess dapat naka fiber para ok ito.

Sir ac, tanong lang, may mga korean and japanese channel ba? Yun lang purpose ko dito para makapanood since wala ako gaano alam sa mga ganyang player. Plug and play na lang ba yung ubox3 ng dad mo?

Plug and play. May Japanese at korean channels pero wala sub titles kasi they are streamed live.

Actually yun ang gusto ko malaman, yun performance niya against our internet.

ideally kasi nakakaakit yun marami kang free channels but if the cost is bandwidth then I do not think this is for me.

I say this because I used Netflix regularly and it doesn't kill naman my internet the way you described what was happening on your end."

i remember setting his ubox to 1080p... ibaba ko nga mamayang gabi.. to 720p.. try ko uli.. hehe

Your dad is using the ublive app to watch live channels right?  If yes, changing to 720p won't help because they seem to only have 1 type of stream unlike netflix and youtube where it will adjust the streaming quality based of your internet speed. the 1299 dsl plan is 3mbps right then that's the bottleneck.

hehe.. thanks for clarifying.. hehe will try to apply for faster internet soon.. para paputol nadin siguro cable which in our area.. madalas naman putol..
