Title: Double Magnet for Speakers

Apologies if topic already discussed di ko mahanap, tanong ko lang if double magnet speakers are solely used for sub woofers?  I intend to replace a damaged monitor speaker with same diameter speaker but the replacement is "double magnet" it may not be a good replacement if double magnet speakers are specifically designed for subs.
