Welcome to the board electronics-depot. It's good to have you here. Like me, there are some people here who've purchased DVDs from your shop before and would like to use this thread as a good venue to post feedbacks,orders,etc. about your shop. Hope you can check up on us regularly.

Could you please indicate what regions the individual discs are? Unlike most other members here, it seems, my poor DVD player can only play Region 1 titles. And could you put the prices too so that I know how much to bring? :)

I was at E.D. this afternoon, and I browsed through the many boxes of R1 DVDs there.  Most single R1 DVDs are priced at P1595.  I bought the Space: 1999 Vol. 1 & 2 (each is a two disc set), each was priced at P1995.  I was given a discount such that my total bill was P3800 for the two sets together, rather than the list price of P3990.  I do not know if this discount was given me because I am a PinoyDVD member, as I was unaware of the discount offer.

I also saw another very interesting two-disc set there:  The History Channel's War in the Pacific.  Only P1395.  I would have bought it had I not already been wiped out by the Space: 1999 sets.

I just came from there. The sale's on, and according to the lady there, it'll continue for a while. The selection isn't so big right now (some good titles and good variety tho, like Apollo 13 and My Best Friends Wedding) and she said she'd be getting new titles for the sale soon.

Dropped by Electronics Depot earlier tonight, and I met angrybird in the process of spending some more of his hard-earned salary.  ;)

Of course, a few minutes later, I did the same by picking up Re-Animator (and once again forsaking my vow not to buy any  more DVDs until I get to the US).  D'oh!

Mayfield - Star Wars Ep 1 (The Phantom Menace) is set to be released on Oct 16,2001.  This is the first official release of any Star Wars film on dvd. :)

change topic - Ever since the F1 races started i've been addicted to car / race movies in general - but i haven't seen that many - i loooved gone in 60, and recently, the fast and the furious (no dvd yet - can't wait! ;D - vcd lang, which obviously didn't do the movie justice  ::)).
so my point is, and i do have one... can u guys recommend any other good car movies?

Try Super Speedway by IMAX. It is one of the best test disc for home theater.

for me on of the best car movies was/is Thunderbolt. by jackie chan. damn! that was a great movie!!! :) but im not sure about a dvd copy though.

There is a new movie by Stallone, title is Driven.  Sabi maganda raw yun mga special effects.  Sa trailer, yun mga CART cars, F1 like, ay nasa streets....

I have a question lang. I was in ED this afternoon and I bought the 1999 DTS 5.1 Demo CD for 1595 but while surfing I saw that its only 6 dollars. Tama ba yung price or it got mixed up with the Telarc CD. The telarc is 25 dollars in the net so I was thinking, you would sell it more or less 1595. Sabay kasi nilabas lahat ng CD. For clarification purposes only. Thanks

Thank you for your supprt but I am pretty sure that the one you have is the TELARC. Can you give me the UPC barcode no.?
I am sure we didn't order the 1999 DTS demo disc because that is Vol. 1 and 2.

We only ordered 3 pcs. of the  TELARC CD.

     Its the vol 1 of 1999 DTS 5.1 Demo Disc. There is no Bar Code and Im sure its not Telarc.Adriel showed me the three telarc and this one. Invoice no. is 1720 and salesperson is koowie but the salesman I always talk to when I buy there is Adriel. In the receipt it says DTS surround sampler disc. theres a number here 0089408440229.
Its exactly the same with the disc in the net, same selection. What should I do with this? You can call me thru 09175373837 thanks. More Power

  I would like to follow up my inquiries re the 1999 DTS 5.1 Demo Disc Vol. 1 which I bought for 1595 while in the net(dtsonline.com) its only 6 dollars. I was just asking if it was the correct price or it got mixed up with the Telarc Disc which I assume will cost 1595 because its its more expensive in the internet. In your reply you said you only ordered 3 Telarc disc and I saw these 3 discs but I did not choose them. Instead I got this Demo disc that Adriel showed me also. I am very sure it is not Telarc. Anyway I hope you can check it out, I have nothing against the disc in fact its ok, I just got suprised when I saw the price in the net. I just want to clear out that there was no mistake in your pricing. Thank you very much

Hello, does anyone know what the shop hours are at electronics depot? i've been trying to contact them over the phone the last couple of days and i can't seem to get a anyone after 4pm :(.

If You're still in business, does that happen all the time? Just wonderin, coz I still see you entertaining queries in this site so I assume you're still in business!

I'm just a newbie here. My ofcmate usually buys dvds here in the PinoyDVD site. I just pitch in my share when she orders. Sabit lang. Well, I actually got the idea of joining in and found this Electronics Depot interesting. I just want to know if you guys are selling Anime DVD's? I find it taxing (I mean TAXING) ordering at Amazon. The DVD's are priced okay but the shipping prices and taxes are too much.

Do you have DTS Demo disc?

I saw one at Image HP but its not for sale.  The disc includes scenes from the movies Lost World, Gladiator, U-571, Titan AE, Chicken Run atbp. OKs talaga eh.

they already have this DTS Demo thing... #4 ata... selling for 900 i guess...

ey ED... do u accept orders for R2 Discs... nag-order kasi ako sa inyo ng Friends Season 1 kaso sabi ni Zeny??? eh wala raw makuhang copy... and then she said that ur getting ur copies straight from US, so juz wondrin... if u accept orders for R2 discs... coz I just found out that Friends and other titles I want are only available in R2...

Just passed by Electronics Depot here in Libis. They're having a DVD sale for as low as 750-1000, but the titles are old. Mostly Region 3s. But there are some nice ones like Devil's Advocate, Heat, the lethal weapon 1-4, etc... if you'd care to check out.

Correction, Phoebus is right, DVDs there are going for as low as P650. I browsed through some titles, but they were all Region 3.

Isn't it that the regular price of a DVD from astrovision is P850? I was assuming that that was the average rate.

Interesting DVDs? Hmmm... I saw mostly pre 2000 titles.

I think I saw some discs at Astrovision being sold for as low as P700.

Electronics Depot has some R1 discs as well, though you have to ask the owner for them as he tends to hide them from most people. It's also a good place to buy X-Rated DVDs. I'm thinking of getting myself an Asia Carrera title soon. :P

4 Kids
Mary poppins, sound of music, pinocchio

4 Adults..
A lot...

They carry good titles and some of the DVDs are less than 1,000.

Ok ang sale buy 2 take 1. Yon take one nila hindi tapon all blockbusters :D. Got the Gladiator special ed. (dts and dd) ok ! . Nalagasan ako tuloy ng P3595  :'(for four disc, not bad. Kaya hindi ko na sinama ang wife ko. I hope every month may sale. Thanks Ogie ;).

yes, they do have R1's but you have to ask them about it because they are not displayed. price range is from 1400 - 1900 if i remember it right  :).

am not sure if they carry anime

they used to take orders for special requests (anime, concerts, etc.). dont know if they still do that now. it used to take about 2 weeks for orders to arrive, but that was a long time ago.
