pwede ba gamitin ang pro audio amplfier sa home theater?

yes, and it will likely sound better than most of the common AVRs.
You will need to have a processor as well as have enough amps to cover all desired channels which will most likely be more expensive than an AVR if you are starting from 0.

Pro audio amps Iba market nyan, refinement is not one of their priorities
Since Hindi naman usually ginagamit sa critical listening, medyo crude,
Grainy and unrefined sya compared to home audio.
Muscle without refinement.

I think you are referring to Hifi. If you are talking about ultra silent amps like hypex, purifi or thx aaa, then yes, grainy and unrefined. But say an Onkyo 686 (1% THD 165w 6ohms 1 channel driven) vs a Kevler GX5000 (0.1% THD, 85db SINAD), then it's not so bad; most tube amps are even 1% distortion e.g. line magnetic 216ia.

Madami din pro-audio amplifiers that sound good. It may not sound best but they are really good. Kaya lang, most of them are also branded ones using the same, if not, better modules with our hifi counterpart. They are also more durable because they are built to be played longer hours per day unlike ht amps. Price wise minsan mura din sila lumalabas... Depende from where you are coming from.

Actually I'm talking 2 channel, multi channel pala requirement ng o.p.
Having said that, you cannot compare tube distortion sa solid state since
Advantage ng tube distortion is it actually sweeten the sound, making it more
Euphonic and musical.

Napa kinggan ko na rin itong crown amp na very favorably reviewed. Pound for
Pound winner sya especially for the price, pero the sound is harsh, 2 dimensional,
Boomy and lacks timbe.
Of course I'm comparing them to amps far more expensive.

pag gamitin ang pro audio amp for atmos speakers(ceiling speakers) good ba? mura kasi ang pro audio amp compare sa ht amp
-
c ninong boy+ gamit din crown para sa jbl bass.
nakita ko sa raon naka display mukang astig .
baka parang si Og, all muscle no brain

mang Bert used 4 crown macrotechs to power 8 subs.....his ss setup used 32 speakers in total with 12 ML2's to drive those speakers in a ten way active crossoever system....so depende yan sa setup....
professional amps sound their best when running high output than say tube amps.....

May murang pro audio amps, may murang 2 channel stereo or mono amps. May mga 50 watter pa nga na possible gamitin for Atmos ceiling for onlt 1,500 pesos class D. So in general, kung makatyempo ka ng gusto mong tunog sa pro audio, go for it. For me yes there are classifications for the usage and appications but the ideas are there and kinda similar. Amplification.
