Title: LED TV issues
Post by: Tha_Mann on Jun 23, 2021 at 01:00 PM
I have a 6-yr old 55" Toshiba LED, last Sunday lumabo yung screen as in parang naka 0 brightness pero may nakikita ka pa. ok naman audio. ano kaya problem? t-con board ba? worth it pa kaya ipa-repair? hirap mag hanap ng good tv repair shop dito antipolo eh. nasa dining area namin gamit, hindi tuloy kami makapanuod ng Eat Bulaga pag lunch time hehe.

baka backlight issue lang, Shopee & Lazada are selling it cheap. Some could DIY it.

If 32 inch, dagdag ka nalang konti, brand new na. If you spend 30%  or more (brand new cost)  for the repair, better buy a replacement. My rule of thumb.

where / how do you dispose of large LED panels that somebody else can probably find time and resource to repair?

agreed.

Kung LED TV pa din sir bibilhin mo as replacement, malaki na binaba ng presyo for 55 inches na size.

9 years for a disposable TV is not bad. That is "sulit" already.

Yes. you can get 65" much much less than 120k. For sure it has better PQ and technology.

unplugged mo muna, then do this:

"First, some possible causes of vertical lines on a Smart TV:

Loose cable connections: Loose cable connections, such as the HDMI or video cable, can cause vertical lines to appear on the screen. Check the connections to make sure they are securely fastened.Feb 17, 2023"

or try magpalit ng hdmi..
