For some strange reason, it's good to know there's an A/V shop nearby. Although the convenience and accessibility may be detrimental to my blissful married life. ;D

Kato you might want to try the neuneo 2085,it upconverts via component,look for ashley ;D

Bro, available na kaya Oppo 971H locally? I'm still thinking if I should get it from Amazon. It'll end up around 13K including shipping. Almost the same as the NeuNeo. Choices... choices... ;D It's for my dad para sa AE900 niya and his DVD collection na maraming classics and old movies (usually di ganon kaganda pagkaremaster/transfer to DVD compared to the new movies). I'll be building an HTPC for myself naman as my universal player.

with 35w tube amp, panalo ka na sa qa 1050. as what i've read from british mag HIFI CHOICE, QA1050 can be driven by amps starting at 25w. pero mas panalo tayo kung ang price nyan is not more than 25k.
