Title: What is the difference?
Post by: 24bit on Jul 09, 2005 at 08:27 PM
Dear Tech Guru's,

Can you help me with my questions. Thank you in advance.

1. Is there a difference in sound between using both left and right input of the subwoofer or just using one input (Left)?

2. How to break in a new subwoofer

3. How long should I break-in? How would I know if it's ready?

The stereo RCA input level in most powered subs is supposed to sum L and R sub information.  So you can expect two inputs to be louder than just one.

Many subwoofer manuals have their recommended burn-in periods. Depending on the model, woofer compliances often breaks in after a few weeks of daily use.  I guess one month would be the norm.
