Para sa akin, pare-pareho lang yan. Media compatability ang issue kaya minsan sablay. O kaya defective ang nagamit na media. I usually buy in pack. Minsan, may ilan din sa pack ang defective [ pixelize, freeze].

Experience wise, it actually depends on both the CD/DVD media and the burner. A big factor lies on the media of course. Cheap media usually sacrifices quality and durability and sometimes compatibility.
Burners on the other hand, does contribute to poor burn quality on a good media. Based on internet reviews and surveys, the popular one is from Lite-On (DVD Burner). One site you can check for hardware review references is Anandtech (http://www.anandtech.com).

Guys need your help. I cut and paste my DVD's to an external hardisk. How do I make and burn a DVD copy using the the cut and pasted version? I am using the latest Lite-On DVD writer and it works fine for audio cds but it has trouble reading the blank ion-mega DVD I use??? Is there a compatibility problem with my DVD coz the shop told me the writer I bought could read and burn a + and - dvd. Or is ther a config problem with the Nero I am using? Thanks guys will greatly appreciate your suggestions.

I don't know if it will play correctly using copy and paste. You probably need to use software like DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, or others.

Yes you must use "IMPORT DVD" function to copy the DVD folders from DVD-video disc. You can use latest video editing/dvd authoring to do this.
