Thanks for the comments.  The racks are several days old.  Had a different set-up but I want to free some space.  I'll post my old set-up also.  I am convinced too that the racks makes a big difference on the looks. Thank ya all.. :) :)

Thanks.  For the sigma's, you can ask StarApple computers in MCS, got my units there, got them at current retail prices. PM ko sa yo actual.

I'm drooling about the other set-up and gadgets.  But if you're happy with what you have, then share it, that is...the community's purpose right?

Salamat cire2005, slowly learning from the masters here in PDVD.

Bro,

san ka nakabili ng TV Rack and how much?

Got the Sigma's in StarApple computers in Makati Cinema Square thru my brother. The TV-5829 price if I'm not mistaken is about 5.3K, higher than those bought a year ago.

This was what I did:

1.) Put your Yammy to 2 channel stereo with the sub activated in the morning. sub volume should be below 9 o clock
2.) play a music CD with lots of LFE, use the repeat button
3.) turn off your front speakers, using the speaker A or B button
4.) Go to work
5.) Turn it off when you come back from work
6.) Repeat steps 1-5 for a week. make the volume a little louder on the last few days

CHTr series was harder to break in compared to CHT series.

Bro, somebody suggested to try plywood painted w/ flatwall enamel. I think it's a good idea. Someday if time permits, i'll try this one but instead i'll mix a little black tinting color to the flat wall to make it a little greyish. I read somewhere na maganda raw lumalabas ang video quality pag medyo grey o silver ang screen.

There are many options on DIY paints, as suggested in the AVS forums. I have read extensively but the choices will confuse you.  Yup, I read that the grey hue will somewhat improve contrast in moderately lighted environments.

Peek of relocated set-up........

(http://img290.imageshack.us/img290/3180/img0142qw7.jpg) (http://imageshack.us)

Unloaded the MS 3.5 for audio and bought the wharf D9.1/9CS combo for my Yammy730 since I freed up a small dedicated room. The D9.1 are sitting on Sabre speaker stands(used for surrounds) but the price of around 1.5K egged me to buy it na for the diamonds.

Addition of the BenQ W100 for my primary display...

DIY 80" Diag Screen with a test fabric, but failed the test run and will replace with a pre-ordered blackout cloth in Shell Canvas ATC..

Finally finished the DIY Screen using blackout fabric.  80" Diag(70" width X 40" height). I decided against the DIY ceiling mount for security reasons ;D and found one at Spectra(flush+extended) universal mount.  This PJ for begginners like me is bang for the buck, considering its performance.  Problem lang is the absence of a lens shift that limits placement.

Below are some pics....

3 point adoptor for the ceiling mount installed.

I have to buy this ups to protect the pj from brownouts.  I was hit by a power interruption last week that made me decide to get the ups to allow the pj to complete the cool down during power outages.

Thanks for viewing.

Simple upgrades pa rin bro, he-he, budget upgrades pala. The last time nakapanood ako ng full movie sa sinehan is when Superman Returns was featured.  Ngayon, feeling ko araw araw, me mini sinehan ako kahit di hi end ang gears. I especially love how the velo is performing in a small dedicated room, vibrating seats talaga. ;D ;D

Hi bro. Parang common prices ata yung universal mounts like this.  Bought this for 3.5K, including the extension(but I never used it anyway).  Someone is selling by order sa buy and sell board, ganun din presyo and mukhang pareho lang. Try to look at this link http://pinoydvd.com/board/index.php?topic=64031.0. I think hindi pa reserved to.

told that it won't be compatible would my benQ....thanks

At bakit daw hindi compatible, our PJ is only around 200-250W consumption di ba?  Batukan kaya natin yung salesman ng sabay!!!! ;D ;D ;D

500VA/300W is enough unless you plan to attach everything to overload it. Dedicated naman ata eh.

What I did was this      Wall Outlet----UPS(500VA/300W)-------AVR(1000VA)------PJ

Hehehe meron na bro, 7.5kva we got this after milenyo! it was very useful after reming!
It also powers our small hospital...we have regular 2-6 hour daily power outage for about 1 week na!
The reason daw is a "problem" somewhere in camarines norte...so they have to allocate power and get from our area here in albay! Curiously, Joey Salceda(former chief of staff in GMA) who is running for governor is also very close to the the head of ALECO electric coop...mmmmm.
