There is a thread about korean movie dvd collection, but nothing about favorite korean movie dvd, so this thread stays.

alright.. point taken. but i still strongly believe that both threads are somehow related (if not the same). furthermore, no clear explanation of the topic was given and the first post pertains to the film and not specific to any of the DVD release of the said titles.

case in point, My Sassy Girl has 3-4 korean dvd releases; a moment to remember has 2 releases. which is which?

oldboy [2003] is not too far behind.just watched it yesterday and its great.its a mystery wrapped in suspense, wrapped in a thriller with some drama. that is why it is one of the best selling dvds, the tartan video release. even bigger than tae guk gi

Bichunmoo

The girl from The Myth starred there. Better than hero, kulang lang sa cinematography (and budget).

Untold Scandal

This is the only film version of the French book that I've seen so far (I know of two others). And the first Korean film I've seen e-v-e-r. I only have the single disc edition. I hear they've released a two-disc set. Ok sana kaso wala din naman daw English subtitles yung special features  :-\

yep, to be released on dec20. dvdheaven & dvdfromkorea usually re-release these LEs, sometimes in a sale price, sometimes in a very high price.

i was surprised to see van helsing UE on sale at $9.99. isn't it $20+ before  ;D  but be careful when ordering such, at least confirm with them that the packaging is the same with those released before. the one i got was sad movie LE for $13.99 but i verified first with dvdheaven that it was the LE (digipack, with postcards, etc) because the re-release was distributed by HB Ent while the original LE was by TUBE Ent. both dvdheaven & dvdfromkorea even told me to check it on the actual release date to confirm because they're also not sure if its really the LE?!?

btw, for the case of Daisy LE its still the same distributor.

A little off,
I'm currently starting to watch Emperor of the Sea (tv-series), just borrowed the dvd set.

I'm also watching the show currently showing in KBS channel during the weekend (Sat. & Sunday starts around 8:30pm)
Does anyone know the English title for that?  The show is set around medieval Korea vs China(Tang Dynasty).

Disc 2
