No, definitely not. ;D

But I can tell you actor Richard Grieco of 21 Jump Street has over 3000. Read that in an interview.

Pero puro Region 1 lang siguro yung collection niya. ;)

If I'm not mistaken, firewired and wifey dvdiva already had more than 5000 titles 3-4 years ago. So today, that number must be much higher. ;D

oh sorry.. i have almost forgotten.. HD DVD-wise, we belong to the same region na. hehehehe. dont you have any r3 release? even 1?

this HDDVD news makes me feel bad. i feel so poor with the high price tags of gears.

Post by: pchin on Apr 23, 2006 at 07:56 AM: True Redge.....to enjoy HD movies in our home we will need to upgrade to HDTV panel, HD player and AV receiver should we want to take full advantage of the 7.1 sound system....BIG burn in our pockets. :'(

We'll wait 2 years or so for the price to drop to a more reasonable level....then by the time we complete all the basic gears, another few more years may have gone by...hopefully our gears would not be obsolete by then! :-[

If we belong to the same region which is region 1. I hope they don't make locally packed or produced region 1. remember we still have Magna, viva, c-interactice, star, warner.

Post by: firewired on Apr 24, 2006 at 05:39 PM: Uhhh... 5,000 is a myth. More like 2,000 (more or less) but that's peanuts compared to some people I know who I suspect bought every pirated DVD ever released locally. ;D

Mr. Hankey and I probably have about the same number of DVDs. I have a lot more R3s now compared to when levi's pictures were taken nearly 3 years ago. I also don't buy as much anymore since (as you can see), I have serious space issues.

I stopped counting at 800 titles. That was about two years ago. I probably am nearing the 1500 mark.

I've slowed down my DVD purchases over the past 6 months though, and it will probably slow down further in the future.

I'll try to post a partial picture of my collection, just to give you a glimpse of how disorganized it is, and why I am embarrassed to post the collection in its entirety. :P
