Title: Speakers w/ forward mids
Post by: afterglow on May 09, 2006 at 08:04 AM
I'm looking to put together an office system using my iPod as the source and powered by a spare Parasound integrated I have lying around.  For speakers, I'd like to have something with a forward midrange.  It's got to be bookshelves, it's got to be cheap and it's got to be available locally (2nd hand preferred).  What suggestions do you have??

It's just a preference....seems like that's what my ear goes for when I demo speakers.

Definitely under 20k...preferably closer to 10k....I know that severely limits my options but it's just an office system and since I'm on the road a lot, it's not going to see much use.

if you can find a set of pre-owned B&W DM302's then go for it.  it delivers the goods when it comes to mid/high accuracy.  usually goes for Php6K pre-owned.
