Dinamihan ko na lang ng shelves for future purchases. Minaximize ko na lang.

Right now sir I recenlty purchased a Yamaha RX-V657 and a pair of Aurum Cantus F5508 floorstanders as fronts. In the meantime as funds come along, I will still use my old pioneer center speaker as well as floorstanders which would now be utilized as surrounds. I forgot the model right now.

Basically sir it still looks the same. The only differences from the first set of pics are the "sandpapering" & primering of the shelves as well as putting mouldings on the ceiling & floor parts of the shelves. Will try to take a couple of pics later. I'm honored for the interest sir.

Hmm, I can relate. Ganyan din nung construction sa amin. when it came to sandpapering & varnishing, its as if time slowed down and it takes an eternity to finish. You really cant compromise this stage, or else your quality will suffer. Kaya ang mahal ng labor.

I haven't opened some of my purchases yet. Pagnatapos na lang. In the meantime, nasa action figs phase ako to keep me busy.

I have another comment though, I think the glass covers of the rack are very reflective and acoustically, will mess up sound quality.....just my two cents sir

i agree w/ munskie, pwede pang mag-act as difussors yung dvd's and toys mo sa side if you remove the glass. and an area rug bwtween the couch and tv would help too :)

About the glass, that was my dilemma before. And you are both right with that aspect. But in the end I decided to stay with it to keep out dust from the DVDs & toys and to create the effect of the shelves being a display case.

I am not really concerned too much with acoustics as I only watch movies in the room. I am not much into music.

Great tip bro ET414. Actually this is still a work in progress. I have already ordered a new 2-seater couch and will pick up the area rug once the made-to-order couch arrives. Also I have yet to shop for a new sub and center speaker.

But in the meantime, ipon ulit. Spent more than a hundred grand to renovate the room and the new gears. ;D
