The Z4 is the best regarded entry level 720p PJ in Japan. The Z5 has better specs. What will be the answer of Panasonic to this? :)

Anyone using Sanyo Z5?
-
sino po ba distributor ng sanyo projectors dito sa pinas, any price indication for the z5, how much po ba ngayon ang z4? ;D
-
ngek tagal na pala ito. di ko na pansin date ng post ni sir alvin.

more or less even pero of course mas bago ang tech ng panny, mas late kasi release nya.

Actually, there is already Z6 model but I only need a 1080p capable projector for bluray materials. I need some feedback from Z5 owner regd this.
Ngayon kasi Im using Z3 and I had to switch my ps3 to 1080i each time im using it then have to switch back again to 1080p when using LCD.

So, anyone using this PLV-Z5?
-
Every review of this unit says that its very good up to a certain screen size. I think 90 inch and below would make this PJ shine.

I just got the Z5 and indeed great for 1080i/720p output better than my previous Z3.
But Im not able to make it accept 1080p. Im using Denon 1930 and PS3 to output 1080p. Any idea whats wrong?

I identified the culprit and its on my 13m HDMI cable. Its not fully 1080p compatible, not sure why. Tested this previously and it works fine. Now got problem.
Anyway, no choice but to replace.

Manage to replace the cable last night and now works fine. The downscaled 1080p is still better than the normal 720p. Z5 is a great projector and I fully recommended.

use the camera's setting wherein in you use only available light or candles as light source, so that the flash won't light up. make sure you have a tripod, because at this setting, slight movement blurs the image, make sure the rooms light is off (i think with a pj you will be shutting this off) and lastly, shoot a scene wherein the subject is more or less still, because movement in the scene is like movement of the camera in your hands (if with no tripod) and this will also blur the shot. goodluck. ;D
-
no tripod? ipatong mo sa table or chair at he right level you want and if blurry pa rin due to likot ng daliri mo then use the camera's timer. ;D
