The entertainment press are saying music DVDs are going to be the next big thing in the DVD market. What music DVDs do you already own and which artists would you like to see release materials on DVD?

I just wish that they release more DVDs containing music videos of artists (particularly 80's artists). It nice to watch those grainy videos shown during the early years of MTV. It was so simple then, not like those shown nowadays.  :(

concert ni babyface for mtv is sulit talaga, guest pa sila stevie wonder and eric clapton. I bought it sa tokyo, i dunno kung meron na nito dito.  :D

MYMP live at Music Museum....ang pangit ding tumunog... (under Viva din.. crappy video editing

Paolo Santos Live......poor sound, so-so video quality

Rico J, Hadji A, at Rey Valera...mas maayos ng konti kumpara sa tatlong nauna, but mediocre parin....again under Viva Music

Side A Live....same quality as Rico and Co. for both video and Audio

Nina Live....eto medyo maayos na both video and audio......(Warner Music Philippines ang nag-produce) but still not at par with foreign DVD's...

Muntik na akong bumili nung APO Hiking Society at Parokya ni Edgar.....but I think sayang lang ang pera ko.....

Janet Jackson The Velvet Rope (average sound, weak vocals)
Janet Jackson Live in Hawaii (better sound, still weak vocals)
Tina Turner Live in Amsterdam (awesome grandma!, highly entertaining band, lots of energy, siguradong pagod ka after 2 hours of watching)
Tina Turner Celebrate (great clean sound, lovely dancers)
Tina Turner One Last Time (sound quality and energy not at par with Amsterdam but performance still unbelievable for a 60-year old lady.  Heard It Through The Grapevine was HOT).
James Taylor Live at the Beacon Theater (brings out the best in your HT equipment even though it's only DD.  Wanderin gives me the goosebumps all the time..heavenly sound)
Robbie Williams What You Did Last Summer (the most entertaining male performer I've watched..awesome...highly inspiring fans..bought the DVD after watching him perform live for the first time in Live Eight.  gave away copies to my close friends and everybody became instant fans)
EWF and Chicago (cant believe it turned out to be the best sounding DVD concert I've ever purchased)
Eagles Farewell Concert 1 (great great great sound but vocal performance was weaker compared to Hell Freezes Over, except for Joe Walsch)
Britney Spears In The Zone (lip sync but hot - the only bootleg concert DVD I own..buti nalang di orig...he he he)
Barry Manilow - Manilow Live (thought I would fall asleep on this one but the singer's voice turned out to be more powerful than I've ever imagine..great singing...and he barely even danced.  loved that close shot where he looked like he wasn't holding any mic.  another concert DVD that brings out the best in your HT).
Hall and Oates Live in Concert:  (strong bass, performance got better and better through the concert)
Loggins and Messina Live (pampa-relax)

Just got Nelly Furtado in Concert LIVE from M1.  There are actually a number of concert DVDs at an affordable price (P350-P400+) and some are really good titles.  Artists range from Eagles to PCD to Oasis, to Shakira and even Mariah.  ;)  Good to check it out yourselves.
