My ongoing HTPC project

Hitachi 380TA LCD
Monitor Audio B2 (fronts)
Monitor Audio Bcenter
Monitor Audio Bfx (rears)
Velodyne Cht-10r
Yamaha 659 reciever
Pioneer 696av dvd player
PC(iniisep ko pa kung ill upgrade)

Nice gears. How's the monitor-velodyne-yamaha combination?

Excellent choice & combination of gears ! We have the same TV!

Bagay na bagay IMO ang Monitor sa Yamahas.

Wow BFx pa gamit mo, those are expensive surrounds.

Ang galing saktong-sakto yung set-up sa laki ng kwarto. Sya nga pala sana malagyan mo ng kurtina or 'blinds' yung likod ng LCD para lalong maging mas malinaw yung picture and maiwasan yung feeling na nasisilaw ka pagnanonood sa umaga.

Sana merong velodyne sub na din ako sa current set-up ko, kagaya mo... Great stuff pare...

Salamat mga master. Madami ako natutunan dito sa pinoydvd(... na pagkakagastusan.. LOL).

@wurt wurt wurt
IMHO the Yammy and MA are well matched. Not overly bright but has very great clarity. The yammy has no problems at all driving the MA.

@Matz
sir im sure mas expensive ang Mission na surround. :D

@sight
Bago pa lang kse yung house ko sir so marami pa dapat bilin na small items. pero almost every is there na. Its also my very fist house, i wanted to have my own place while im still single. :D


Ill post some pics later of the BFX i changed them to dipoles. They where first installed as Bipoles but changed them to dipoles and now i could really feel the surrounds.

Nakupo,  :o :o entry level pa lang yan? What more pag nahawaan ka pa ng SARS.   ;D ;D Lets see this page 6 months from now.  CONGRATS Kojie!! Very nice gears. Awsome TV you have there. Had the chance to demo that at Digital Plaza, Gateway. Ala sinabi Samsung LCD.  ;)

ganda nyang Hitachi mo ser, ganda ng resolution nyan....I agree on the post above, mas maganda rin sa tingin ko ang relolution nyan kesa sa same batch na Samsung/Sony/Toshiba/Phillips.....di lang naka-sale yan nung bibili na ako ng TV... :(  and at that time Phillips has an incomparable and irresistible price to pass up....hehehe

I have heard many people say that about the Hitachi vs other LCD TV's.

As for me, I use a non progressive scan DVD player for it and I am already so impressed.

I can vouch for this....A friend of mine here has a 42 Hitachi Plasma, and they bought it around 3 yrs ago na...up to this time eh comparable pa rin yung picture quality nya sa mga current plasma's....

Yep amongst all that i have tested the hitachi was one that i really liked pricewise and quality wise.

Very subjective pala yung "entry level" na word  ;D For me this is already a mid level setup. Congrats bro ganda cgurado nyan pag galing HTPC na ang video signal mo. Great gears enjoy!
