There's a 19" AOL LCD widescreen at a computer shop for only 13T with a promo: "trade in your CRT for a 2T discount."  Indeed they are getting cheaper.  Got my 15" Samsung LCD for my PC for 19T 2 years ago. Now they are selling for 10T or less.

Yes, I got my AOC 19" WS LCD, the moment I read about the promo in the newspapers, I got it for 11,999.00 at the PC Bodega in Aurora/Gilmore.

It has a free DVI cable.

Why buy a 21" LCD with TV tuner  fro 22K  ???

Do the math........Logic will dictate as much.

BTW.........I don't think Viewsonic LCDs have a DVI/HDMI connection, most that I've seen only has teh ubiquitous analog VGA. :P

oops, AOC pala, not AOL.  Lakas talaga ng brand recall ng AOL.   ;D

To those who already bought this, any performance feedback?  I was very tempted to get one when I saw it. I just don't  have an old CRT to get that 2t discount.   ;D  Does it have a fast response time to watch fast moving scenes respectably?  Is it as brillant as those Samsung LCDs for PC?

im not sure if it will looks good as the samsung lcd's, since at least for my monitor.. there seems to be some backlight bleeding?? (white light seeping in on the the top and bottom)  can any one else confirm if this is the case? else im having mine warrantied asap hehe.

as for color production-wise, it wont win awards.. but unless your really actively looking for faults or used to high-end lcd panels... the differences wouldnt be that notice-able. i was using DVI, didnt test analog properly..

hmm.. i've actually seen a lot of viewsonics 19 inch and up with DVI.

hdmi is only avaible on the LCD tv models.
i was orignally planning to buy 1, but read reviews the quality isnt up to par with simillair sized ones from competing big brands(ex. sony, samsung, etc.

also, saw a demo of it the unit in some shop.. granted the the source really sucked ... they were using some low quality pirated disc, played on a dvd player using analog connection... bottomline it looked horrid.

Well.......It's just because this thread is about the 32" Viewsonic3251 being offered for 45K, hence, I assumed it is a LCD TV  ;)

If I am right, Viewsonic doesnt manufacture their brands. Their LCD TV's are manufactured by TECO taiwan they also carry the RELYSIS brand. Just like before, they use sony CRT's  for their high end crt monitors way back. TECO is a taiwan company ( but now they have plant in Chekoz.). This is the same company that  Sharp filed a case with for copying their LCD design technology. Here in the Middle East their price is almost the same with the bravia's and JVC. So if i were you guy's, i'll try to disect these models .

Wow.  This is certainly a good buy since the local distro for Viewsonic only carries N3260W which is around 52k.

Although the seller should clarify re: warranty.  I'd rather spend a bit more and get local warranty than to get headaches in the future with long-distance warranty (esp. if the seller will not handle the warranty)
