There's an AOL 19" LCD widescreen at a computer shop for only 13T with a promo " trade in your old CRT for a 2T discount." ;D They'd do nicely in HTPCs up close. Seems they're really getting cheaper. There's an Acuevision 32" LCD for less than 40T in another thread. I hope by christmas 2007, a Samsung or Panasonic 32" LCD will be down to 25T. ;D

I should have posted this here; :-\
Yes, I got my AOC 19" WS LCD, the moment I read about the promo in the newspapers, I got it for 11,999.00 at the PC Bodega in Aurora/Gilmore.
It has a free DVI cable.
Why buy a 21" LCD with TV tuner fro 22K
Do the math........Logic will dictate as much.

Dapat siguro there's a separate thread for this AOC monitor. This is perhaps the cheapest LCD wide screen monitor out there on a per sq inch basis. P12.5T for a 19" ws. Lalo na with the trade in promo.

Do this AOC monitor have separate inputs for component inputs, etc?. The Hyundai model i saw had separate component inputs, an rgb input and another ...Composite inputs-not sure on the third. plus a few inputs for audio connections.

Based on specs it only has DVI and VGA terminals. Understandably as this is more a PC monitor than a TV

ok thanks for the input.I will check the Hyundai again but i believe that it has a built in tv tuner in this unit.

I saw a 32" Hyundai for 63000 at Automatic. Didn't know the specs as it was on display in the show window and I can't see the back (and hence the connections available). The model number is something like 3222 but not sure.
Hopefully, this will force Samsung and Sony to lower their prices instead of bundling items I don't really wants... If not, then Hyundai might just get might my cash. My budget is currently 50k, so the first 32" brand-name LCD with HDMI reaches that price point gets my cash...

Anyone knows the specs? 4x3 or 16x9?

I just saw a Hyundai 32 inch LCD TV at the SM Appliance branch in The Block, it was retailing for about 60k and it's widescreen. I tried to look at the connections behind it but since it was located way below and behind the unit I could hardly see anything. The only thing I saw aside from the component connection is the VGA connection. I don't know if it has HDMI.
Any feedbacks about the unit?
