Yes, Back to the Future Trilogy. Unfortunately, I read somewhere here that there's a problem with the framing of Parts 2 & 3. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. I shouldn't complain, its a gift. :)

Wow, its been a year.
Anyway, got no DVDs for Xmas this year, but I gave away about 30-40 DVDs to friends, pamangkins, inaanaks, siblings, in-laws, uncles & aunts. It sure solved my problem on what gifts to give this xmas. 20 of these were the Incredibles (15 of w/c were R1).

Anyway, got no DVDs for Xmas this year, but I gave away about 30-40 DVDs to friends, pamangkins, inaanaks, siblings, in-laws, uncles & aunts. It sure solved my problem on what gifts to give this xmas. 20 of these were the Incredibles (15 of w/c were R1).
Too bad they cant post here ;D.

What do you do if someone gives you pirated DVD's?
We had a Kris Kringle at the office. So that your "Mommy"/"Daddy" gets you something that you actually want, we put up a "WISH BOARD" where we would write notes on what we wanted. I listed down a few DVD's that I wanted (with an "or") but my "Mommy" got me pirated DVD's. :o I forgot to indicate that I wanted original (okay lang kung isa lang basta orig).
So I have a bunch of pirated DVD's here. What do I do with them?
(FYI: My "Mommy" is from another department. She doesn't know me and vice versa).

we had the same format in our department, wish list ! but i indicated original and where they could buy it. im glad they got me the original and the title that i wanted. ;D

Oh well, its Christmas, it doesn't pay to be a Scrooge and let her know her efforts are not appreciated. Just remove any remaining Dvds from the wishboard and replace them with something else. Unless there's a minimum amount allowed, you can't really complain (you want to call the MTRCB?). Next time, if you must, place something that's cheaper in price or a bargain DVD and put it explicitly like Disney's Cars from Astrovision ParK Square 1 Makati). Cheers. Merry Christmas! ;D

There was a minimum amount allowed: PhP 500.00.
So, instead of buying me one DVD that costs PhP 500.00 (which would be FINE by me), she got me a whole of bunch DVD's costing around PhP 300.
I hate pirated discs to the point that I was tempted to find her and lecture her about the evils of piracy and how I find it extremely insulting that she would give me pirated discs. But since she doesn't know me and I didn't indicate it, I'd just shut up about it. If she asks, oh boy......
