Problema kasi sa 'Pinas, kailangan sumunod ka sa SRP or terms ng supplier, if not baka hindi ka bigyan ng stock. Unlike in the States, where TRUE FREE MARKET reign, at hindi puwede mag-dictate ng terms ang supplier, baka sampahan sila ng Anti-trust. Dito, kailangan under the radar pa pag-magbenta ka ng mas-mababa (ie kung cash ang bayad), so ang talo ang consumer...
I really would like to buy a 32" TV for around 60k, but wala pa sa budget ngayon... but keeping myself updated...kasi malapit na bumili... Sana by then, hindi na kailangan hush-hush pa ang ganyang deal...

Theoretically yes. But as I have argued elsewhere on this board before, the rule only favor the card companies, because they charge something like 5-7% to finance your card purchases. So even if you pay cash, retailer should ask you to pay the 'charge' price, so who won? The retailer, not the consumer, if they are to apply the rule.
You are being forced to charge the item (even if you can pay in cash) to your card (and card companies get the commission), when you should be the one to benefit when paying in cash. 5% of a 60,000 item is 3000...that's a lot of money...

I already called, and it's true that they sell their items at looweerr rates. They also have installment plans for BPI & Metrobank CC's. Other cards accepted but straight charge. That's unfortunate for me because my card can only be accepted for straight charging. I tried to call my card's issuing bank to see if I can convert it to deffered payment after charging it straight, but they don't like to.
Lucky for the BPI & Metrobank card holders. So if you're really buying your LCD's, call them. Big difference in price. It may even depend on your negotiation skills if you visit them personally.

josko ano ba mga problema nyo. nung una ayaw nyong maniwala, nung nalaman nyo totoo, babatikosin nyo.
there is no catch here, there is one year store warranty, they do back it up. not sony philippines though. it is the same thing as buying cameras at hidalgo.
eg. canon g7 sa canon phils is 32k, sa hidalgo its 20k, sony t10 25k sa sm, sa hidalgo 14k. why lower price sa hidalgo, grey market sa hidalgo, but guess where do smart buyers buy, sa hidalgo ang puntahan.
yung nagbebenta grey market, but its not a fake, these are original, bnew branded lcdtv's, minus the freebies, minus the middleman, minus the store salesman etc. that is why you have a lower price.
if ayaw nyung bumili dun its ok, wag lang pupulaan, somewhere some way, a person's gotta eat din and also needs to make a buck. kung ayaw po ninyo maniwala or bumili from his store, dun kayo sa mahal ang tinda bumili. but for those whose pockets are not deep but wants a nice lcdtv, call the store.
ps. i don't personally know the owner, its just that i was so happy to share my find to those pining for an affordable branded lcdtv.

fyi, i got the philips 32" for 70k. i have a lot of reasons why i chose philips over the sony. one of them is the power consumption.(65w compared to 180w on almost all brands), 2 hdmi inputs, pixel plus, pip from two sources (dvd and tv, tv and pc, pc and dvd), clear cable broadcast viewing, better than samsung and sony imho. for my eyes, phillips got it for me. your preferences may differ than mine of course. ;)

I called them and V2 series is now priced at 79k, weird... ??? anyway, its still cheaper that on local distributor.
They also have 32" toshiba for 59k and LG for 57. I forgot to ask the model though. :P

also, on a side note i found a shop selling 32v200 at 75k.. forgot their price for s200 but its in its in the 60+k area. this is cash basis price..
more importantly, this are official sony philippine units and not grey market units.

i heard just now sony 32 inch s200 model lcd going for under 50k. wow finally, manufacturers are passing on the savings to us consumers. this is going to make flat panels affordable to an even bigger market.
anyone in the market for flat panel should really look around before forking out their hard earned money :)

My client bought this Sony 32S200A and its been with me for a month. I havent opened the unit but he wants me to test it before installing for his new house. He also bought 2 units of Sharp 37 Aquos and there are all in my Living room including the HTIB that came with them. He even brought to my house his 5.1 Yamaha-B&W HT setup. I will try to setup and compare the Sharp and Sony against my Samsung DLP when I have time.

i recvd my lcd 2 days after pasko. watching DVD was good pero standard channels on cable look crap. masyado yatang compressed ang digital cable dito kaya ganun. will try HD (High Definition) channel next.

Looks like. Just around PhP 68k ($0.030084 = 1 thai baht, Php46 = $1). Here it is 95k for 12mo. installment, 85k cash/straight credit, from AV stores in malls.
