Title: LCDs + ambient/back/bias lighting
Post by: paolorenzo on Mar 26, 2007 at 10:03 PM
I can't seem to find the old thread on bias lighting, or ambient lighting (ideal lume).  Anyone here who has installed bias lighting behind their LCDs?

6500K seems to be the recommended color temp, but it doesn't seem to be widely available.  The ropelight seems to be the easiest to implement.  Meron bang locally available lighting device for this purpose?

Help naman.  I want to be prepared, before the panel finally gets wall mounted.

paolorenzo,
yung nag-fabricate ng lcd and ht wall mounted cabinet set-up ko, naglagay na rin sa akin ng white flourescent bulbs as ambient lighting. di ko alam kung ano yung color temperature pero ok lang naman sa mata.
next time nasa subic ka at bumibisita sa mga friends mo dun, daan ka lang sa bahay to check it out.

Salamat bunsoy.  Basta ba maraming pagkain ang ihahanda nung mga "friends" ko dun eh.  ;D

Email mo naman sa akin ang pictures.  Are these the T4 bulbs?
