Yes... still breaking it in.  Prices to follow since we are still finalizing the details with Durob Audio Holland.

Mystere will be launched next week at the alabang hi-fi show.

Tyrone,

Are the preamp tubes 6SN7? :) How does it compare to the a70t?

Yes its 6SN7.  This amp is similar to the A-70T class A version where there is switch that will allow it to use both EL-34 type and KT-88 type tubes.  However it gives higher wattage than the class A Cayin.

As for sound character, it is quite different from the A-70T :)  Its still not fully broken in so we will give you a more detailed reply in a few days.  Better yet, why not come and audition it.  Hirap mag describe ng sound hahaha.  Keep in mind this brand is our ultra high end line and that model shown should cost near 3x that of the A-70T

listened to this amp last saturday powering Vollas... smooth sound, played a couple of operatic metal tracks and the guitars that on other amp/speaker combos sounded "live" because the "distortion"/overdrive effect had distortion that can hurt ears at some point, these played nicely. smooth and warm, like I had an ESP 6 string through a Mesa Boogie in my own bedroom, the sound characteristics at 20%-25% gain on the MB only much louder through the cayin and volla.

thank you for the positive review.  The amp is still being broken in and we are sure it will still improve :)
