The world collectively mourns their fallen hero; humanity realizes it will never feel truly safe again. Superman's enemies rejoice all but Lex Luthor, who grieves the loss in his own demented manner, setting off a chilling chain of events that even he couldn't have foreseen. Wow, ok yung price :)
kaya lang i don't know how to buy from amazon.com... sana may umorder pa dito, pasabay ako ;)
-
RNIverson - is the lenticular cover standard for the release o limited lang? TIA :D
-
i'm not really sure about that clea. its not really limited, but as with previous titles, like disney platinum editions, slipcases tend to disappear after a few months/years. so if you're interested particularly on the slipcase, i'd say buy early just to be safe
;D
-
Thanks for the info RNIverson :)
Got to find someone either going or coming home from the States ;D

Man, the story made me cry...coz I wasted my time watching it! It was a shame they wasted the Doomsday-Superman story by giving us this crappy plot. >:(
The only saving grace for this movie was the special feature where DC execs, writers and artists shared their story on how the "Death of Superman" process went about. It was a pleasant tidbit of info I learned when they explained the slow transsition of the comic book panels' evolving from four/three to two and then to Superman #75's dramatic one pannel per page issue.

just got back from watching this purchase. i think a lot of people didn't like this because the title is VERY misleading. Doomsday?!? he just showed up and then in a few mins dead. and i'm very disappointed with the death of Superman as i thought it was the highlight of this film. the Dark Supes story was more interesting IMO
well it was ok for me, quite cheap, lenticular slipcase, and believe it or not its my first time to see what Doomsday looks like ;D
i was hoping for a Bats cameo though ::)
-
"Cheap" best describes the story, not the price, IMHO. ;D
-
Its not cheap if you asked me.. especially the freakin Target Exclusive that caused me a week to get one (Target made an availability mistake)

The 2-disc DVD and the Blu 8)

I already got the first release. Looks to be no additional content for this one. I actually like the cover art of the first one more.
-
Yeah, at least the first one had a lenticular slipcase. They're just releasing a 2-disc DVD because of Blu.
-
No additional content? Does that mean the all the special features from disc 1 get transferred to the 2nd disc?
-
For me... it's a waste of money... except for the action figures included in the boxset/giftset edition :)
