Nice interesting topic ;) I have around 560 dvds, a good quarter of them still unwatched (and most probably will remain un-watched) due to the HD bug that bit me. ::)

same here... though i purposely hold off watching at the moment coz i reserve most of them to watch with someone (anyone) sana. my site is still under construct (sic) ;D as of now, so i try to watch muna those that would be a bit awkward to share with others like movies with too much sex, too much gore, too slow and/or ponderous, obscure titles, too popular titles w/c i'm sure have been watched to death already. for now, as the threadstarter said.... i find delight more in going after these crazy dvd/cd sales. i'm afraid that one day i'll find i have watched all my dvd's already and so nothing much to look forward to.

As I've said before in one of the threads, the thrill is in the search and the find. As for your other concern, there will always be new movies, old dvds that will get better treatment ( e.g. Kubrick dvds now ) and dvds that will have extended editions and so on. Lest we forget, there's the Blu Ray and the HDVD pa! Trust the commercial world that you will always have something to look forward to in this digital age.

Don't ask, Won't tell.
Far too many for any rational human being. If I am going to watch them all straight through, might have to take a long break from work, that my job probably won't be there when I return...
Some TV series would take a week or so to plough through (Everybody Loves Raymond and I Love Lucy are both 35++ discs). S1 pa lang napanood ako sa Raymond. Dami pa other series and movies na bought during buying binges at Sales.
-
None.............
I never binge when I buy DVD's except during the recent Astro sale :-[
I just buy about 3 DVD's a week and I make sure I've seen it before buying a new DVD.
