IMO What is great on MF first the wattage 200wpc can drive most of the speaker today. tahimik siya tumunog (noise floor) other good thing on this combo is the balance connector I use XLR to connect my DAC and PhonoStage going Preamp and xlr going to power amp. On sound quality?, IM not expert but comparing it on last Hi-Fi show for its price category very satisfied with this combo. Sa staging, the mids high etc... Para sa akin kailangan talaga mag match driver mo at speaker to make it shine :) with MF and AE speaker, I find it sweet to slightly detailed.

Yes Atty got my MF April 2012 gusto ko lang magkaroon ng Tube amp. One time kasi napadaan ako sucat nakita ko AMX pumasok ako at nag audition ayun nakulam he he he.... Narinig ko yung Integra Minima, overture 6550 at Quartet int amp. Iba talaga tunog tubo :). Then end up custom monos >:D

On how it sing, comparing to my solid state musical fidelity:
On soundstage/imaging = my vote on AMX heard the different instrument inside and beyond the speaker
On depth = both wala ako nirinig na difference he he he
Bass reproduction = MF win here over AMX, although the latter has it but the transient and deepness of the bass is lacking
Mid/High reproduction = AMX wins, the lushness of tube shines here, every details is heard the vocal richness was so sweet hearing jane monhiet's soul in over the rainbow song. Gary V version of "what matter most" has full of passion napakasarap pakinggan yung habol ng hininga ni gary at yung pagbigay niya buhay sa kanta :)

Overall AMX sings very sweet on my system not an expert but the way it resonate to my ear was so delightful whether in low volume and high volume again the tube characteristic was there the vocals was so alive and full of life never taxing in my ear, rather hearing those ssss and breath put smile on my face and shook my head and said "ganito pala ang tubo" he he he never regret buying this mono amp absolutely I will have good time listening to it. Thanks and highly recommended Tube Amp "proudly Philippine made"

Did you change the preamp tubes all at the same time sir or did you change them one after the other with listening sessions in between? just to get the sonic characters of each tube. :)

Once those kt120 tubes start failing, you can start rolling those 88s... ;)
