me too, never thought about the price when i bought this! :)

i guess for me, it had to be the killer criterion edition
did not really pay in cash but i traded ten dvd's for it! :)

I purchased Escaflowne Series just last year, before Christmas. And Neon Genesis Evangelion - Perfect Collection last month lang.

I bought mine online, meron naman stock sa amazon.com and animenation.com, you should check those out pag sa internet ka bibili.

Having said that, I believe that the most expensive DVD that I bought was Flash Gordon (Melody Anderson/Queen Soundtrack). It can also be considered rare since it is OOP.

The dvd was only about $20 or so but once my son saw the advertisement sa dvd, (action figures, posters, computer game, playstation game, clothes, etc...) it sure cost me a whole lot more than what I bargained for. Probably in the neighborhood of $500 >:(

Mine is R1 and the egg is embossed also.. me-artwork pa behind the disc holder which is "cuter" hehehe.. R2's basic advantage in terms of packaging is the neon green dvd holder which I think is cool ...

nevertheless, I am satisfied with this box set.. okay sa alright...

i wasn't thinking when i purchased this. except for the uncut full color hardcore version of the final showdown battle in the House of Blue Leaves, this is just not worth it...unless you're really a diehard QT fan ;) this boxset is not the nicest i've seen but definitely a show off for its price :)

That would have been my most expensive. I remember that when it was still available and on sale. I was about to order it and have to think it over for a day but I decided to order it was out of stock already. It was the bigest ^@^@%^ mistake. It's number 1 for my wishlist. By the way it's the japan ver. that I' planning to buy not the UK ver.

"I could get a B&W speaker for this" or "I Could get an AVR" outch. ;D

But Like hemi as said. I like to stare at them at appreciate them. Sa totoo lang I don't watch my DVD's anymore so sooooooooobrang busy at work and with my family. And btw. My daughter owns the TV and DVD na. :)

I think pwede naman w/ some credit cards. You can convert your straight purchases into installment. Better call your credit card company. I think Citibank offered this a few months ago. I don't know if the promo is still running. ;)

Wow, astig. Matagal ko nang dream maging part ito (alien head) ng iMAtZ theater, pero pambili na lang ng other gears and accessories muna ;D.
