-Activist nun Vilma Santos’ impassioned speech at the end of Mike De Leon’s Sister Stella L. (1984).
-Gina Alajar grieving over slained husband Phillip Salvador amidst the flashes and glares of the media, in Lino Brocka’s Kapit Sa Patalim (1985).
-the final scenes of Peque Gallaga's Scorpio Nights (1985).
