Thanks for the warm welcome! Its nice to be part of the HT Picture Gallery  :)  I hope I could inspire others just like how PinoyDVD community inspired me to built my own HT setup.

I haven't checked it yet. Hindi pa kasi ako nakapaglipat ng mga gamit. But as per condo admin, wala pa naman daw report na may nasirang appliances due to their 260V power outlet.  :o

Medyo nadelay nga eh. Last week of November 2009 sya sinimulan. Hanggang ngayon hindi pa tapos ng contractor kasi nag xmas holiday break sila kaya natigil yung trabaho.  Hopefully next week makalipat na ako dito.

Nalimutan ko pala isend yung price list ng condo unit sayo. Send ko pagbalik kong office next week.

Medyo amoy pintura pa hanggang ngayon. Walang choice eh, kailangan ko na lumipat. May magrerent na kasi sa dating apartment na nirerentahan ko.

Kagabi lang ako natapos mag-ayos ng gamit. Add ko yung bagong photos next week with all my HT gears.  ;)

Sarap umuwi galing work at magrelax! Can't wait to invite my colleagues and friends to come over for a videoke and movie night.

Nagrrattle lang sa harapang ceiling pag sobrang ma-bass at nakatodo lakas ang volume. I'll check it out next weekend.  Parang hindi secured ang pagkakalagay ng projector or yung T5 lamps.

Tinest ko rin kung tatagos sa adjacent units yung sound, buti naman hindi. Wala naman silang reklamo kahit malakas ang volume.

Medyo maingay nga lang sa labas pag daytime. Ginagawa pa kasi yung ibang building at nagpaparenovate din yung ibang unit owners sa cluster ko.

Satisfied naman ako sa audio and video. It sounds better now.  I'm not an audiophile but I like my current setup.

Overall, I'm satisfied sa naging layout at interior ng condo.  It's almost the same as what I've imagined it to be six months ago. 

At the age of 27, I'm very proud of this project.  May pinatunguhan din yung couple of years ko na pag jejeep at tricycle instead of cab or driving my own car, kain sa carinderia or baon ng de lata sa office sa halip ng restuarant or fast food, nood ng movie sa bahay sa halip na sinehan, investing to mutual funds / stocks instead of giving in to upgrade itch.

if only we can live a life as simple as this but would have a pad as grand as your's brader...kongratz...

At the age of 27, I'm very proud of this project.  May pinatunguhan din yung couple of years ko na pag jejeep at tricycle instead of cab or driving my own car, kain sa carinderia or baon ng de lata sa office sa halip ng restuarant or fast food, nood ng movie sa bahay sa halip na sinehan, investing to mutual funds / stocks instead of giving in to upgrade itch.

MASINOP ka kasi sir.CONGRATS ang ganda :o :o :o

Retractable sir yung wall mount ninyo para ma swing in and out ang LCDTV?

Custom fabricated po ba ang wiring guide ninyo or ready made na ito?

T5 light I believe ang nasa likod po?

Very nice kasi at malinis tingnan, Tuwang tuwa ang misis ko na walang wire na kita. :)

Yes sir, retractable yung sa upper part ng screen. Ganito itsura nya pag nakabukas.

T5 lights sa likod at yung wiring guide at paglagay ng cables ako na gumawa.  Hindi kasi familiar yung electrician sa pagsetup ng HTPC at multi-channel speakers.

None sir.  Despite of frequent late night movie watching and videoke party until 4am in the morning, I have not received any feedback or complaints from my neighbors. 

I tried playing a movie and turned the volume up then I went to my neighbor in the adjacent unit.  We could barely hear the sounds coming from my room. 

I think the thick walls really help.

yeah concrete walls din yung division namin dito sa apartment.  no complaints so far, i even asked my neighbors when i switched to full HT (avr + 5.1), i just had to seal the windows with boards with 1/4 inch foam.  helped a lot  :)

Thanks Doc! Very satisfied pa rin sa DIY subwoofer na gawa nyo ;D Yung pinalitan ko lang yung DIY screen na galing rin sa inyo. Binenta ko to a fellow PDVDer. ~30 sq. meter (5.87m x 4.96m) po yung unit.

sige try ko, pero may nakapatong lang na wood panel. Hindi ko pinafixed, naka-screw lang yung cover para madaling tanggalin kung mag-aayos ng cable.  Smooth glossy white paint finish.

Walang lens shift kaya medyo natagalan ako iinstall at i-align, buti na lang one-time ko lang gagawin pag-install.  I'm very happy with this projector lalo na 34K ko lang nakuha.  ;)

Based dun sa projector calculator at manual,  16.5" ang required vertical distance from the projector lens to the top of the white screen.  Medyo namroblema ako nung una kasi 8 feet lang ceiling ko. Kaya dinagdagan ko yung drop ng screen ko para mas lalo bumaba at halos idikit ko na sa ceiling yung projector.   Na-achieve ko naman yung 1:1 pixelmapping at perfect rectangle without keystone.

I'm planning to dispose my Desktop HTPC and buy a netbook this week. May nakita kasi akong murang Asus 1201N sa TipidPC eh.  Gumagawa na nga ako kanina ng Bootable USB Flash drive Windows 7 installer when I mistakenly formatted my hard drive with 2GB worth of backup HD movies and TV Shows :'(

ahehehe. kamalas mo naman sir. kung gusto mo, kopyahin ko hd movies mo para in case mabura mo uli, may backup ka sa kin. hehehe.

NSN ka pala sir. US SOCs ako. almost 5 years na ko sa SIS.  panood naman sa HT mo... ganda ng pagkakagawa eh. very neatly done. :D

ako din nga yung johnblackstar sa tpc. kaso dito na ko madalas tumambay. ganon talaga yata natural progression.  from pc to htpc, tapos neverending upgrades, then full blown SARS! hahaha.
