Title: Is the PS3 going to get a true 3-D firmware update?

according to sony there was a 3d firmware update in june.  it is allowing us to play a handful of new "3D games".  and in october there will be an update allowing for 3d blueray playback. just wondering if anyone had some insight on the update and whether or not we will have to buy some expensive "sony 3D glasses"
