Im planning to have my vacation nxt month at gusto ko magdala ng 46inch lcd at isabay ko pag-uwi. Sabi kasi ng iba wala naman daw bayad if you are OFW. Kindly share po if u have experienced.
-
AFAIK, pag OFW may limit sa screen size, parang up to 32-inches lang ata. Then the OFW must also be away from the country for at least 8 months (ata) to qualify for exemption. The best is to confirm with the customs office para di ka ma-hassle ng mga crocodiles pagbalik mo.

It should be 1,000-2,000 dollars man lang sana para interesting.
-
pag may sundo kahit 50" pa yan libre! ;D

Talaga Godfather? hehehe

ayos yan brader Donnel... ;D
pero airport of your departure meron din limitations for accompanying luggages. baka yung 50" 'di magkasya sa luggage trolley tube at lalong di pwede hand carry... :D
AFAIK, only 32" ang pwede... :)
better send it by door-to-door along with your other pasalubong... minimal lang ang tax sa mga cargo forwarders at wala ka pa hazzle, just make sure that you send them thru reliable company. :)

i can confirm pede po sa NAIA up to 42" panel, nakapaguwi na ako ng 3 pcs plasmas in separate instances :D,
airlines usually accommodate up to 30kgs per each item na i che checkin mo, that's the reason why up to 42" lang ang naiuuwi ko, unless may 50" na less than 30kgs paguwi ko ng pinas ulit papayagan naman.

May malaking issue ho if we are talking of TV standard.

Do u need to prove to them that you are OFW? Thanks for sharing sir.
-
sir, advice lang from another OFW, have it shipped via sea freight instead of taking it with you. its guaranteed tax free and safe, but always pay for insurance just in case.
you may be able to avoid paying taxes but I'm not sure how safe your plasma would be. baka hindi ingatan ng mga nagbubuhat sa airlines, sayang naman kung masisira ang plasma mo.
-
guys, salamat sa mga advise nyo :)
-
sir last year lang din po ako naguwi ng 42", August and December. :) ok naman lahat...

Sir a 46" LED Bravia EX700 is about 69k, and a 40" NX710 is about 80k (comes with a blu-ray player and some 3D goodies), Onkyo receivers and HTIBs marami dito sa ME... no idea about the price diff but when I bought my 606 18 months ago it was about 16-17k.

You're welcome sir. Not sure kung meron 37" LEDs kasi ang nakikita ko rito is 32", 40", 46", and yung mga 50" and above. For shipping costs via sea freight factor in an additional 4k sa total cost nung TV.

-
Before I bought my Flat Screen..I compared prices from the middle east and local stores...I ended up buying locally...mas mura kasi. You only need to know where. ;)
-
I told him flat tv at sagot nya ''sir baka may pangkape ka dyan'' hehe!
Ok naman lahat at it works perfectly!
Ang laki ng price difference when i checked it sa mall d2 sa pinas. Nakamura pa rin ako. ;D

Just my opinion.
You can read some other sources if they had similar problems like yours.
