Post by: keating on Jul 25, 2011 at 09:08 PM: Caught the preem at the CCP last Sunday night. Thanks to Raymond Lee. When was the last time you laughed, really laughed so hard until your stomach ache?! :D

Marti Escudero was a revelation, nice to see again 80's icon Roderick Paulate on the big screen. Brings down the house last Sunday night, funnier than Joey Goseingfiao's TEMPTATION ISLAND & Danny Cabreira's ELEKTRIKA KASI EH! Instant cult classic!

Post by: keating on Sep 05, 2011 at 04:20 PM: Going strong on its 2nd week! Already beat the Star Cinema movie at the box-office. Kudos again to Jade Castro, Raymond Lee and Michiko Yamamoto. 12 more theatres were added last weekend.

Post by: halvert on Sep 07, 2011 at 05:00 PM: it's funny but the last part of the movie kinda sagged...parang di ko naramdaman na in danger sila from the zombadings....parang poorly edited /executed yung nangyaring death scene. tsaka pagkatapos pumatay ng mga zombadings, tumigil na sila tapos pinabayaan na sila, ganun lang? parang sayang lang. could have been better if they wrapped it up nicely.

Same here. It could have been great kung inayos ang climax/ending. But to be fair from start up before the climax, the film was hilariously wicked! And it helps if you as a viewer would loosen up a bit. I saw this in UP Film Center where the audience (mostly students) was just as whacked as the film itself.

So happy so many CineMalaya films are getting theatrical releases and are doing well in the mainstream. Too bad the MMFF couldn't have movies this good.

@keating, thanks for info about the name of the supporting actress, Mailes Kanapi. I wasn't able to catch her name sa credits. Just googled her and it seems she was also in at least one Cinemalaya entry last year. (see http://whatevercarl.tumblr.com/post/2678797725/supporting-actress-blog-a-thon-mailes-kanapi-in-ang). A dramatic turn naman. Personally though, it's the first time I've seen her in a movie.

what made babae sa septic tank good and worth watching was eugene domingo.. what carried zombadings scenes and sequences IMO was also eugene domingo, too bad she appeared only in a few sequences.. but martin escudero also did stole some scenes, not as good as eugene domingo though.. the best padin eugene domingo.. ;D
