Hello guys,
Using multiple disk while showcasing your HT is verrrrry hassle. Specially when you are protecting your collections with plastics pa, tanggal kabit sa case. So I decided to collect each scene from good movies and compiled as bd without suffering audio and video quality. dts-HD Master Audio, Dolby True-HD are very important to me eh kaya kahit wlang disk nice pa rin ang quality. But some of these are old movies. I believe that there are some good movies today which I think are better so help me guys. Suggest lang po ng movie scenes that are best for demonstration.

Here is a suggested list of movies and scenes that gives surround speakers good exercise. Some have great LFE too:
Master and Commander - first battle scene when they are fighting in the fog. Cannonballs whizzing through and wood splinters flying everywhere.
Dragonheart. The part where Draco is talking to Dennis Quaid in the wheat field while flying around in him. The counter-clockwise pan is pretty cool.
Planet of the Apes. A few minutes into the movie when when they discover the electrical distubance in space and the two ships race through it. And the crash landing on the planet
War of the Worlds where the first Alien Tripod makes it's way from underground and starts firing at people running for their lives. I like to start it where they are looking at the storm and the wind is flapping the clothes hanging on the line.
MR and Mrs. Smith the scene where they are fighting their way out of their home and the house explosion is truly a killer.
House of Flying Daggers the "Echo Dance" scene
Cutthroat Island battle scene where the ships are tearing into each other with cannons blazing. Excellent surround sound effects of cannonballs and debris wizzing around your head.
Gladiator first battle scene with 2 large armies battling against each other with arrows whizzing by your head, the sound of steal clanking together, the echoing voice of Russell Crow and the background music.
Star Wars Episode One Pod Race. Also the lightsaber sounds as Maul fights Qui-Gon at the end and the pass close by the camera are awesome.
Ice Age opening sequence is very good with an excellent transfer and detailed surround imaging.
Saving private Ryan D-Day scene gives every speaker a good workout
Toy Story 2 the opening 'video game' sequence
Lord of the Rings, The Two Towers, chapter 41 in the standard edition. It is the scene where the wall at Helms Deep is blown up.

Yes sir, it is good on LFE too, the bomb explosion really great. But I put it on Surround because it works more on surround (airplanes). It is on number 23 of category A but we can transfer it to category B. Thanks sir vtec3.

Guys sorry this is not for sale and distribution of any kind because of legal aspect. Sensya na po. We must have original blu-ray purchased of our own and compile ourselves.
At the moment, I'm not done yet. Im on the stage of collecting those titles because in my collections, I only got 30% of 86 titles, kasi ung iba kong titles hindi nman pang demo. This means, I am trying to buy originals from the lists at low cost(amazon) kasi masyado nang mahal itong project ko n ito and/or get some titles from blu-ray rental stores kasi naghihinayang din ako kung bibilhin ko lahat. In fact if I have my demo discs, bihira ko na din magagamit ung mga originals ko.
Pwede rin ako kumuha sa nagkalat n mkv kung gugustuhin ko kaso nga lang quality ung pinag uusapan. As much as possible 100% orininal source.
If we sell it, not just because of legal aspect, it is very very expensive. Biruin mo isang blank blu-ray disc costs P600-P900 per piraso. I'm planning 3-disk compilation, so this means disc palang aabot na ng P2000 estimate hahaha. The lowest cost I saw on amazon is worth P400 excluding delivery, but the price is unstable. Kakalagay ko lang sa Cart kinabukasan iba n nman ang price.
If I use single layer disc (25Gig) which costs P50 average, we have 6 discs pero ayoko ng ganun kadaming disc na ginagamit. As much as possible single disc nga lang sana eh kasi nga hassle magpalit palit.

Thanks sir. I'll try my best po muna. From the titles above, I'm on 70%, 30% from my collection. The remaining 30% nalang and ung mga bago pang lalabas tulad ng Jurassic Park by Oct 25 pa yata.

hehehe ganun tlaga sir. Sa dami na kasi na nasa list. Ung sa the Shooter malay natin magkaroon ng new release. Matatagalan p nman itong project ko kasi nga di pa kumpleto ung original bd ko, and inaaral ko pa ung new software. Grabe kasi almost 600 pages >:( . Meron akong isang ginagamit kaso no option sa menu and some issues. But it works without re-encoding video and HD audios.

Was able to watch and listen to Jurassic Park. I must say, the video is just ok, but the audio is definitely one of the best I've heard on BD. The score sounds great, LFE is fantastic, dialogue is crisp, you name it, this disc probably has it.

Actually nasa version 2 na sila, but still in single disc edition which is also 50GB blu-ray disk, selling at $50 per copy. i don't know how much for the fee for downloading it. Most of scenes included meron din sa list natin.

1) "Heat" yung scene na palabas sila ng bank after robbing it tapos maraming police sa labas.
2) Forrest Gump - yung scene sa jungle nung nirescue niya si Bubba and he was running back to the extraction point. Bullets whizzing by and then the napalm explosion.

I downloaded the demo disk and took me around 3 days. Played it through my desktop(psuedo HTPC setup) and the clips selected are quite good. Shows off the PQ and SQ of any system. I'm from makati and anyone who wants to copy are welcome to it.

if you can't burn it as a blu-ray disc, what you can do is build and ISO image of a BD containing those files.
i accomplished this via IMGburn
i then mount the image via Daemon tools and then BD playback via PowerDVD
some NMT's have support for such BD ISO with full menu navigation as well

How to Create BD-ISO for "Home Theater Demonstration Bluray v2.0"
NOTE:
Some torrent clients like utorrent are unable to create the proper folder structure for Blu-Ray Disc/ISO. There are required empty folders which are not re-created by some torrent clients. This guide assumes you have completed downloading the torrent "Home Theater Demonstration Bluray v2.0"
Please follow the steps outlined below to create the proper folder structure.
1. Download this file:
BDMV_(no_Stream_folder).zip

2. Extract all the contents of the zip file into "[working folder]\BDMV\".

3. Navigate to your [torrent folder] containing the completed download. You should see 4 items (1 folder, 2 .jpg files, 1 .txt file)
example: D:\Torrents\Home Theater Demonstration Bluray v2.0\ where "D:\Torrents" is your [torrent folder]
4. Open the folder named "Home Theater Demonstration Bluray v2.0". You should again see 4 items (2 folders, 2 .jpg files)
example: D:\Torrents\Home Theater Demonstration Bluray v2.0\Home Theater Demonstration Bluray v2.0\ where "D:\Torrents" is your [torrent folder]
5. Copy the folder named "CERTIFICATE" and Paste it into your [working folder]. Your [working folder] should now contain "BDMV" and "CERTIFICATE"
6. Navigate back to the folder described in Step 4
7. Open the folder named "BDMV"
8. Copy the folder named "STREAM" and Paste it into your "[working folder]\BDMV"
9. Verify that the folder structure within your [working folder] is exactly as follows:

After verifying that you have the proper folder structure, you may proceed to creating the Image file/BD-ISO
1. Download and install IMGBURN

2. Launch IMGBURN. Select "Create image file from files/folders"
3. Click "File" then "Browse for a source folder..."
4. Navigate to your [working folder], select "BDMV", and click OK. Under the box named "Source" it should now contain "[working folder]\BDMV"
example: D:\TEMP\BDMV\ where "D:\TEMP" is your [working folder]
5. Click "File" then "Browse for a destination file..." to specify where the image file will be saved.
6. Click "File" then "Build"
7. You will see the following dialog box, click YES.

Hmm... have you tried extracting some of the files to check if they're playable? Also, what is the filename of the iso?

If the files can't be played even after extracting, then the files themselves have a problem and not really the structure of the BD. :(

OK naman po sa ibang ISO.kaso nga lang ito kasing V.02 sampler maraming nakalaman na movie sa menu.yung ibang ISO e 1 lang na movie talaga.
nababasa naman nya yung V.02 kaso kulang nga po yung movie,nawawala yung sa:
surround, lfe, video at audio calibration na sampler.

^ i think limitation na talaga yan ng device (kaiboer 1055) and it's BD Lite/simple BD navigation. to enjoy full menus you need Full BD navigation feature.

Master and Commander LFE demo works from my copy. video for the first few frames is messed up but after a second or so, the video plays fine; audio works ok.
btw, i'm using Daemon tools to mount the ISO into a virtual drive, then BD playback is through PowerDVD 11.

if i had nice upload speeds, would have done this a long time ago... check mo na lang muna sa avsforum, baka sakali meron pang active torrent somewhere, or intay tayo ng uploader here from PDVD.
