There's not much nudity or sex in the first three episodes of season 2. The plot definitely gets more twists this time around.

The assault team were wearing balaclavas so their identity is not known. Maybe, very maybe.
The irony was Carrie tried to play the journalist by asking Brody to feed intel and see what happens, and a massacre is what she got back.
Or maybe Brody baited Carrie into asking him to talk to the lawmaker so he can warn her without any suspicion. Remember, there was a period of silence when they were talking in the hallway? Could be that signal protocols were passed.
And despite the face masks, someone took off his after the assault. Could it be that Carrie mentioned 7 casualties to send the message across that 1 person survived to tell on the identity of the one who removed the mask?

Well, that's an effective way to extend the series for years - kill many characters.
Problema, edi no point na to show Mrs. Brody making out with Mike.
There are actually a lot of points to show Jess and Mike making out together, one is to show that she is happy without Brody, another is just she finally enjoys it, and many more. So there is absolutely no reason at all for the writers, producers, etc to not add those scenes. It may very well help the dwindling story if they put more of those scenes in there. ;D

'Homeland' season 4: Two actors not returning as series regulars
We’ll be seeing less of two members of the Brody family on the fourth season of Homeland, according to a report.
TVLine reports that Morena Baccarin and Morgan Saylor, who play matriarch Jessica and daughter Dana, respectively, are not returning on a full-time basis to the Emmy Award-winning series in the upcoming fourth season. Showtime has not yet responded to EW’s request for comment.
The move comes as a result of producers’ plans to dial-back storylines involving the Brody family drama, according to the report. But they have both reportedly been invited back on a guest-starring basis.
Baccarin, who just welcomed a son in October, was nominated this year for an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.

Horrendous season finale! Not only did it dwell on interpersonal relationship crap, but it did so with regard to characters we've either never met or heard of before (the mother, the brother) or don't give a crap about (the dad.) Carrie's relationship with her father has never been a focal point of the show, so his passing is largely irrelevant to us. And her mother -- well, who the hell knew she had a mother anyway? And who cares?
What was the point of this absurd episode? Nobody, and I mean NOBODY watches Homeland for the soap-opera stuff. There are umpteen shows on television where you can watch that sort of thing (including the Affair, which precedes Homeland on Showtime.)
Nothing much comes of Quinn's rendezvous with being Rambo in episode 11, and episode 12 was a veritable train wreck. The first 10 episodes, by contrast, comprised a wonderful, taut, thoroughly exciting story. The slaughter at the embassy was reminiscent of the near suicide bombing by Brody at the end of Season 1, and the destruction of CIA headquarters at the end of Season 2. It was a perfect and climactic coda to a riveting season...followed by 2 episodes of...nothingness. Perhaps the writers initially planned for this season to last only 10 episodes, and then stuck the additional 2 on as an afterthought? It's the only explanation I can think of for the bewildering degradation in quality at the end of the season.
I daresay the first ten episodes of this season, taken on their own, made for the best season of Homeland to date. Episode 11 was anti-climactic and much ado about nothing, and the 12th episode was...horrendous, possibly the worst in the entire canon. Here's to hoping they regain their footing for season 5, and not utter one more word about the father or mother.

that's how these spy's/intelligence agents are trained ... I forgot the name of the no.1 terrorist that they caught before and jailed in France, but there was a movie about the agent who infiltrated his group and got him caught - the training was really unbelievable ... they would ask him to go into a room for a few seconds, then they would ask him every small details of the room and he should be able to answer ... so I did not find it impossible in the show that she would remember, as it is part of their training
